Exemple: Un partenariat d’in-licensing a été signé en 2012 avec Kamada, une Biotech Israélienne, pour un traitement par nébulisation à base d’alpha-1 antitrypsin (AAT), qui a obtenu le statut de médicament orphelin auprès de l’EMA pour les patients présentant un emphysème pulmonaire dus à une déficience en AAT.Ce médicament doit être commercialisé en 2015 parChiesi en Europe et Turquie.
Exemple : Chiesi a fait l’acquisition des droits exclusifs auprès d’UniQure en Europe, Brésil, Mexique, Pakistan, Turquie et Chine de commercialisation de Glybera, la première Thérapie génique approuvée en Europe, qui destinée à traiter la déficience en Lipoproteine lipase. Chiesi a également obtenu les droits exclusifs pour co-developper et commercialiser l’AMT-60pour traiter l’Hemophilie B dans les mêmes pays.
