Shanghai Intelligent Building Technology (SIBT) will be held in halls W3, W4, and W5 at Shanghai NewInternational Expo Centre (SNIEC) from 2 to 4 September 2020.

As a key industry platform for growing businesses and igniting conversations, SIBT is devoted to exploring new modes of applications by incorporating 5G, IoT, AI and other cutting-edge technologies into smart communities, buildings, real estate, offices, parking and home domains. To further complete the industry ecosystem, in 2020, SIBT will again present the Shanghai Smart Office Technology (SSOT) zone while continuing to work with Shanghai Smart Home Technology (SSHT) and Parking China (PKC) to spur the development of building, parking, office and community industries, assisting businesses in forming new relationships across different industries.

The global intelligent building market is expected to grow from USD 60.7 billion in 2019 to USD 105.8 billion in 2024, with CAGR reaching 11.7%.*

As the 5G era continues, building technology will also enter its golden age signified by rapid growth within the Chinese market. Key factors continue to spur the development of the industry, including the increasing support for IoT technologies in building management systems, the rising awareness of space-efficiency and improving industry standards and regulations.

Dedicated to smart office and commercial space management, the Shanghai Smart Office Technology (SSOT) zone encourages the discussion of new technologies, concepts and innovations within the industry. Through supporting traditional offices in adopting new concepts, the zone empowers upstream and downstream businesses alike.

In sync with the present market trend, the concurrently held Parking China (PKC) strives to be the leading smart parking platform by promoting the commercial parking model of ‘shared resources, rebuilt ecosystem and the open platform’. Together, SIBT and PKC effectively shape the smart city ecosystem.

spanned 28,750 sqm of exhibition space, a 25% increase compared with the 2018 editions. Growing together

with the industry, the 2020 editions will continue to support cross-industry collaborations within the smart building

ecosystem and promote new scene applications.

A key platform for intelligent building technologies, systems, solutions and products

This year, we brought our latest products to the fair and received positive responses from buyers. The exhibition space has also expanded significantly, offering more content on smart community to promote the integration of residential and communal lives. Schneider targets extensive audiences and the buyers here are quite diverse, this fits perfectly with our needs and allowed us to connect with many potential customers.

Together, SIBT and SSHT 2019 presented 16 concurrent events led by 120 industry professionals, delivering the latest technology and product knowledge to audiences. Forums are organised by The Intelligent Engineering Branch of China Exploration & Design Association, China Smart Home Industry Alliance, China Academy of Information and Communications Technology-CTTL-Terminal and other organisations respectively. Moreover, standards organisations such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee, EnOcean, KNX and ZETA hosted concurrent forums to discuss topics like building automation, wireless communication, energy management system, leading technology and product launches, smart parking, smart offices and more.
