房子不贵，离学校也不远，我常常骑自行车去学校，很方便。

上个月我开始上课了。这儿的课比澳大利亚的多多了。我每天上午上四个小时的汉语课，

下午学习中国传统的书法、音乐和画画。虽然学得有点累，但是我的汉语进步得很快，

我很高兴。刚到北京的时候，我不太习惯这儿的天气，总是生病，现在好多了。周末的时候，

我常常跟这儿的朋友一起出去玩，每次都会拍很多有意思的照片。等我回澳大利亚的时候，

没看见一辆车从前边开过来。还好车开得不太快，但还是把我和自行车都撞倒了。

下动物们的名字，他们从哪儿来以及他们的生活习惯。参观完动物，我们会在动物园外边的草

地上吃午饭。因为天气比较热，请大家多带点喝的水，最好也带上帽子。

大卫的生日聚会

我叫王小明, 在澳大利亚学习英文。在这儿我有一个好朋友叫大卫。上星期六是

Howard的两篇关于中国的日记

Howard是一个澳大利亚人。16岁以前，Howard 从来没有听说过中国的“孔子”，

也从来没有到过中国。直到16岁生日那天他突然在报纸上读到了一个关于孔子

的故事，他发现自己开始对孔子和中国很感兴趣。

1978年，19岁的Howard第一次到了中国。他参观了孔子的故乡，听当地人说

了很多关于孔子的故事，还拍了很多照片。他把这些经历都写到了他的日记里，

他说那时候当地中国人的生活水平还不太高，可是人们都很尊重孔子、了解孔子，

他们都很善良，很有礼貌。他的朋友告诉他中国其它的地方也跟这儿差不多。

2014年7月，Howard带着他18岁的侄子Mike又到了中国。 Mike正在澳大利

亚学习汉语。为了让Mike更好地了解中国的语言与文化，Howard把他带到了中国。

这一次他们去了很多地方，Howard又把看到的、听到的写到了他的日记里。

他在日记里说中国发展得太快了。这36年，中国变了很多。中国人的生活水平

提高了很多。中国有了越来越多的高楼、KFC，iPhone...中国人生活得越来越像

西方人，但是好像离孔子越来越远了。

Howard的两篇日记帮助了很多的外国人了解从1978年到2014年的中国，

也让越来越多的中国人开始看到自己这30多年的变化，开始更好地了解自己。

中国的茶馆文化

茶馆是中国最有特色的地方之一。听说最早的茶馆出现在唐朝，到现在已经有

1300多年的历史了。中国人爱喝茶，他们不但爱在家里喝茶，也爱去茶馆里喝茶。

在中国到处可以看见大大小小的茶馆。茶馆是供人喝茶的地方，也是让人休息和娱乐

的地方。

以前的茶馆大部分布置和装饰得比较简单，现在的茶馆在这方面讲究多了。桌子、椅

子都是用高级的木材做成的。每张桌子上都摆着一套精致的茶具（一套茶具一般有一

个茶壶和六个茶杯）。窗户前边放着绿色的植物，墙上还挂着中国古代的字和画。这

些古式的桌椅、茶具和字画都极大地帮助了中国的年轻人以及外国朋友了解中国的传

统文化。

茶馆里都很热闹。在茶馆里，人们一边喝茶，一边聊天儿。聊得高兴的时候，

说话的声音会越来越大。大多数的茶馆还有评书和唱戏，大家可以喝着茶听戏，听到

唱得好的时候，就会大声地叫“好！好！”，所以一般喜欢安静的人不会去茶馆，他

们常常到别的地方去，比如咖啡馆。这也正好体现出了中国文化与西方文化的一个不

同：中国文化习惯在茶馆、饭馆或者街上等地方大声地说话、玩笑，而西方文化喜欢

在这样的公共场所保持安静。
