Safety and Hazards
Do not operate the Chonghan Wireless device in areas where blasting is in progress, where explosive atmospheres may be present, near medical equipment, near life support equipment, or any equipment which may be susceptible to any form of radio interference. In such areas, the Chonghan Wireless device MUST BE POWERED OFF. The Chonghan Wireless device can transmit signals that could interfere with this equipment. Do not operate the Chonghan Wireless device in any aircraft, whether the aircraft is on the ground or in flight. In aircraft, the Chonghan Wireless device MUST BE POWERED OFF. This user guide describes the M2 series wireless modem. The aim of the manual is to ease the test, install and disposition.

With the development of wireless communication technologies, wireless products are being adopted in numerous industrial and civilian fields. Shenzhen Chonghan Co., Ltd. a leader of wireless communication equipment manufacturer releases the CH-M2 Series Wireless Modems, which support various frequency bands of WCDMA / EV-DO/ TD-SCDMA/LTE, and provide industrial terminal solutions for 3G communication. As a wireless modem, it support AT command set via USB interface.
CH-M2 series wireless modem adopts industrial level modules, specially designed for the complicated industrial environment which compatible with EMC, and will be your best choose of wireless communication.

Assemble the antenna, power adapter, connect the modem to PC via USB interface, open the
back cover, insert SIM/UIM card, at last, power on.
Note: Don’t insert or remove the SIM/UIM card in the power on status.
Install Driver
Execute the Setup.EXE
Click the “Next” button.
Click the “I Agree” button.
Click the “Install” button.
Waiting the progress.
Click the “Finish” button.
Open the device management.
As the picture, 3 HUAWEI USB controller and 3 HUAWEI device will display.
Uninstall Driver
Run the uninstall driver from “Start Menu” or Control panel add and remove programs.
Click “Yes” for confirm to remove the driver.
Click “Uninstall”.
Waiting the driver removing.
Click the “Finish”.
Dial Up
Follow is the dial up instance, use the Windows XP environment.

Type the name of ISP

Enter the name of the connection.
Choose the communication port.
Setting the port properties.
Note: the Chonghan Wireless Modem port properties factory default is 115200/8/n/1/0, as above picture.
After setting, the Hyper Terminal window as above. Click call button, the Hyper Terminal is ready for operate.
