ChrisKids is where the week-long
fun begins! Life becomes a joy-
ous celebration as we live, work,
and play together. We will look
to the Bible for examples of how
to live to be God’s children and
then explore the opportunities it
brings as we hike, swim, craft,
and fellowship around the campfire, and more. Housed on Agape
Hill, your family group will share many adventures and become
good friends as we practice living in Christ.

Do you stay up all night and
sleep late in the morning? Night
Flights is a significantly star
light experience with much of
the action happening between
sunset and 2:00 am. You will be
quartered away from the rest of
camp in the new adventure sites. Your day will start with lunch and
end with a late night breakfast. There will be night hikes, a tiki
party, ultimate glow Frisbee, moonlight gladiator ball, campfires, in
-depth faith exploration, and much more. Where it is feasible, you
will plug into many of the regular camp activities such as crafts,
swimming, and some of the Biblical recreations.

Grow together with Christ through
outdoor adventure. Being a Christian
often means stepping out of your
comfort zone and letting God take
control. Enjoy a day among the trees
as you challenge yourself on a high
ropes course. Take a thrilling trip
white water rafting down the Shenandoah or Potomac River near
Harper’s Ferry. We’ll even be partnering with Lester Zook and
WildGuyde Adventures LLC for a half-day caving adventure.
Nights will be spent in the NEW Adventure buildings where you
will enjoy the satisfaction of preparing a few of your own meals.
Assumption of Risk forms will be required for the 3 offsite adven-
tures. *These trips are not advised for individuals with an ex-
tremely sedentary lifestyle (low fitness or significant overweighted-
ness). See www.wildguyde.com for more info about our partner.

Looking for even more thrills than our Ad-
venture Quest offers? Kick it up a notch
with Mega Quest! We’ll trade in that high
ropes adventure for a day of actual climbing
at Waterfall Mountain with Wild Guyde Ad-
ventures LLC. Wild Guyde will help us con-
tinue the fun with a caving trip more intense
than the regular Adventure Quest program.
And you’ll round out your week with a
lengthy horseback trail ride at Fort Valley
Ranch. Assumption of Risk forms will be required for the 3 offsite
adventures. *These trips are not advised for individuals with an
extremely sedentary lifestyle (low fitness or significant overweight-
edness). See www.wildguyde.com for more info about our partner.

your heart and hands in ser-
vice for the hungry, the
poor, and others. Each day
will consist of a mission
project, some recreational
time, and faith experiences. Off-site mission trips are still being
coordinated. Information about these projects will be shared as it
becomes available.

HEALTH A Nurse is on-site during the summer weeks. The nurse will accept all
medications brought by campers upon their arrival and will dispense
them for the week. Please make sure prescriptions are of a sufficient
quantity for the week. A Health/Authorization Form (and Packing List)
will be sent upon receipt of completed registration.
HOW WILL YOU GROW THIS SUMMER?
Christian camp experiences help young people build
healthy relationships, encourage active bodies, increase
knowledge and understanding, develop confidence, self-
esteem, and leadership, awaken wonder of God’s Crea-
tion, and deepen one’s personal faith.
(Completed grades K-3)
A daily drive to Overlook for our day camp program may not be
possible for those in the Staunton and Winchester districts. With
the O Mobile program, we’re bringing our staff and curriculum TO
YOU! Host churches make it possible for us to run this satellite
program in YOUR back yard. Participants will still enjoy some
time at Overlook with our Thursday field trip to camp. (*Transportation provided for field trip. Arrive at 9 am/pick up at 5 pm at
the church on this day only!) Campers must be pre-registered AND
receive a confirmation email from Overlook to attend this camp.

Some kids like to take it slow...and that’s OK! Start off with a bite-
sized portion of our ChrisKids program for middle or late elemen-
tary children. Choose the program for your camper’s grade and
decide if you’d like to be with us for the beginning or end of the
week. Some campers enjoy coming BOTH sessions during the
week, but also appreciate the 24 hours at home in the middle.
(Completed grades 7-8)
Embrace the flavor of old (but with
many of the comforts of home) in
this program! This program is de-
signed as a stepping stone for the
more rustic Adventure Quest pro-
gram. Pioneers will cook a few of
their meals around the campfire.
Positioned by the shower house, they’ll enjoy modern conven-
iences. They’ll even have the option to forego their bunk bed and
hang a hammock in the building for rest and sleep. They’ll do some
canoe paddling on the Overlook lake and a highlight of their week
will be a horse-back ride at a local stable.
