THE UPSTAIRS BARHeaving with Yule time spirit, your guests will be delighted with this historic candle lit room, hidden away on our first floor. Feast upon our sharing platters and toast the festive season from our decadent drinks selection and festive cocktails. Crank up the Christmas tunes and party the night away in the knowledge that our team of hosts are there to ensure your night will be one to remember.

DRINK:Be your own bartender and pre-order from our vast drink selection. We can have everything ready for when you arrive and somebody will be on hand to top up if required. Alternatively book your own bar and bartender to look after your guests all night long.

Open bar: Your guests can order any drink from our bar, our bar team will keep you updated on your minimum spend during the evening, you can always extend your tab if you wish.

Restricted bar: Choose a selected menu to be available for your guests. Let us know your budget and our team can help you plan your perfect party package. If you would like to restrict the number of drinks per person we can supply your guests with drinks vouchers.

Pre-order: Pre-order your drinks - these can be laid out in ice buckets with glassware so your guests can help themselves. If you wish, leave a portion of your minimum spend behind the bar to top up as the night goes on.

Hire a bartender: Have your own bartender set up in the lounge to provide you with beer, wine, spirits and selected cocktails. ENTERTAINMENTMUSIC: We are very proud of our cracking play-lists, our Christmas mix will include festive tracks throughout the decades mixed in with some retro classics and of course a healthy dose of The Pogues. Should you wish to provide your own music for your event then please let our events team know and your event manager will show you how to plug in your play-list. We have free guest wifi should you wish to connect to theinternet.

LIGHTING AND DJ EQUIPMENT HIRE: Disco lighting: £75DJ equipment hire: £150

Please note that these charges do not contribute towards your minimum spend.

OUTSIDE ENTERTAINMENT:

Should you wish to bring your own entertainment with you please have a chat to our events team. We can provide a list of DJs, bands and other entertainment companies that have previously entertained at The Ten Bells.

Ts & CsRESERVATION: Reservations are taken on a first come first serve basis. A reservation will only be confirmed once a deposit has been authorised.

PAYMENT TERMS: You will be sent a link to authorise a card for the total of your minimum spend to confirm the booking. Please note that the authorisation is to secure your booking only and is not a payment. If you do not authorise a card for your booking, it will not be considered a confirmed booking. Please be aware that payment for the total balance is required on the night of your event, please see information about payment for pre-orders below. We require a card for payment to be left with your event manager at the beginning of your event. If one or more persons are responsible for payment on the evening, please ensure that they are aware of this and have sufficient methods of payment. We accept cash, all major credit cards including American Express but do not accept cheques or issue invoices for payment post event.

PRE-ORDERS: Should you wish to pre-order food or drinks from our Christmas menu then we require this order at least 7 working days prior to your event. All pre-ordered food and drinks are paid for prior to your event, this can be done in person or over the phone with a debit or credit card. Pre-ordered food is non-refundable.

MINIMUM SPENDS: Please note that if your minimum spend is not met on the evening then the outstanding balance will be charged as a hire fee and you will be asked to provide payment prior to leaving the venue or your authorised card will be debited by us. Note that any drinks purchased on the evening cannot be taken off site following your event. Hiring a bartender or our entertainment equipment does not contribute to your minimum spend.

ENTERTAINMENT: You are welcome to plug a device into our PA system, we are not responsible for loss or damage of personal equipment. Should our equipment sustain damage, there will be a charge of up to a £500 for repair/replacement. All charges for equipment or entertainment do not contribute towards your minimum spend.

CANCELLATIONS: Should you wish to cancel your event then we require 15 working days notice. All cancellations must be communicated in writing by email. Should you be unable to fulfill these conditions then please note that 50% of the minimum spend is non-refundable and will be charged to your authorised card. If you fail to show up to your reservation, then your authorised card will be charged for the full minimum spend.

DAMAGE & LOSS: We are not able to take responsibility for loss, theft or damage of personal property. Should damage be done to the venue then the cost of repairs is liable against your minimum spend. We are not liable for personal property left on the premises after your event.

SAFETY: Drugs, misuse of alcohol or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated by our staff and will be dealt with by our security team. We operate an over 18 and a no ID, no entry policy to ensure a safe and pleasant environment. We reserve the right to refuse admission to any patron at the door.
