OUR family traditions

For Christmas my family always puts up a tree about 2 weeks before Christmas,And the first day we get the tree we always decorate it right after my dad puts Christmas lights on it. We decorate the tree with glass ornaments and little toys that we had since we were like 3. our tree is always as tall as our roof (witch I have no idea how tall that is) and its always real not one of those fake ones, and it always smells like pine I love that smell.My favourite ornament is one that my dad had when he was younger then he is now,And it’s red and sparkly, its round and we always put it on the top branch, and, unlike the other ornaments my red sparkly decoration doesn’t break as fast as other glass ones, its thick glass, the other ones are vary thin and break if you drop them.

My family eats a lot for Christmas, especially when family is over.My mom and my aunty make dinner at my house every year We eat chicken or turkey, stuffing, potatoes and stuff like that Its kind of like thanks giving but more Christmassy

I found out about Santa when I was like 6 or 7.I so disappointed, I staid up till 12:00 and found out that finally no one was coming, at first I thought that cause I wasn’t asleep Santa wouldn’t come, so I fell asleep till 3:00 and I saw my presents under the tree mostly tagged from Santa and I saw that the milk and cookies were gone and their was a note their with my dads writing, and that’s how I found out about Santa.

Christmas in Italy


Italian Christmas Christmas in Italy goes on way longer then Christmas in Canada, it goes on 8 days before Christmas, in Italy they call Christmas the Novena.The 8 days that the novena goes on for, kidsgo from house to house dressed as shepherds, playing pipes, singing and reciting Christmas poems to get some money to buy Christmas gifs.Food that Italians eat on Christmas dayOn Christmas Eve the dinner is called cenone which is a traditional dish of eel.Witch a lot Italians eat on their 8 days of novena.For breakfast they eat a sweet hazelnut cinnamon rolls it's the Spiked Iced Cappuccino that'll really kick-start the day, witch to me sounds great.For Christmas lunch is Tortellini in Brodo which is filled pasta parcels in broth, also served is cappone which is boiled capon, they also eat garlic bread for an appetizer. And finally for desert they eat cake called panettone and it tastekin of like chocolate.In Italy they call Santa clause “Babbo Natale”(in italy the people who speek english dont call “Babbo Natale”they dont call him santa ether, they call him fother christmas .

Mexican Christmas


Christmas in mexico Their main Christmas celebration is called La Posada . La Posada is a big party that Mexicans celebrate,each family in a neighborhood will schedule a night for the Posada to be held at their home, starting on the 16th of December and finishing on the 24th.SantaSanta Claus is not real, but the bright red suit is represented in the traditional flower of the season. This flower is the poinsettia, which has a brilliant red star-shape this flower is red.Their food Taquitos is a type of food Mexicans eat on Christmas day,Its full with meat, cheese, avocado, salad along with sauce.For desert Mexicans eat a kind of cake, a bunt cake,And it has fruit and chocolate on it.

Snow fall


Snow every were! A very happy holiday. Nicolas is coming down our chimneys. Trees are decorated so define.And cookies and milk on the table.

The night Santa lost weight One Christmas night, Santa Claus was going down a chimney and he got stuck. Santa wasn’t too happy about it so Santa called his elf named Jimmy and said: “Jimmy oh Jimmy, help me, I’m stuck! come help me Jimmy!”Jimmy ran out of Santa’s sleigh and said “Santa what can I do!”“Jump down the chimney and be carful of my head please” Jimmy jumped down the chimney and pushed Santa out.“Thank-you Jimmy thank-you” Santa saidAfter that night Santa said: “I will louse some weight!” So Santa went to Coquitlam and decided to work out at the Chemo centre were there is a great work out section. I have to work off all these cookies, I eat BILLIONS every year, I’m not vary healthy besides the fact that I drink BILLIONs of cups of milk every year Santa said.That past year Santa worked out twice every week And Santa turned out like this.

One Christmas night, Santa went to a kid named James house.Santa did every thing he was support to, Santa left chocolate in James stocking eat his cookies drank his milk and left of gifts,and they were exactly what James wanted a new toy car, a rubber ducky and a water bottle. What Santa didn't know was James was a bad kid.Ha-ha I got you Santa i got you James said Huh Santa saidi have you I kid napped you. Santa walked out the Door.
