The Workshops & DemosHandmade and homemade gifts are always unique and special; so tryyour hand at a new skill this Christmas, and book your place at one ofour great workshops at our crafty fayre on 6th and 7th December!Places are limited to a first-come, first-served basis; so book yourplace as soon as possible using the form overleaf. As well as thesepopular workshops, there will also be other workshops to try out onthe day; plus local producer and craft stalls, such as Templar Winesbeers, wines and spirits, Flan Van's Christmas cakes and puddings, andbiscuit icing. Entrance to the fayre is free, but some stallholders willcharge for their workshops.

Christmas Wreaths(Saturday morning only) £20Local florists Rosemarie and Clairefrom Flower Dreams will help youcreate your own seasonal wreath.The cost is £20, which includes allmaterials for a basic wreath (moss,frames and foliage); but bring yourown baubles and ribbons todecorate if you wish.

Tom’s Ironmongery£15/£25Centre stage (the safest spot!) willbe Tom Southerden with hisblacksmith tools. You can make abeautiful leaf key ring (£15) inaround 30 minutes; or a toastingfork in about 45 minutes (£25).

Alex’s Wood Carving - FreeIf you’ve seen some of AlexMcCoy's works in the shop, you’llknow the skill he uses to producebeautiful wooden boards and otheritems. He mostly uses recycled orlocal wood, and will be performingfree demos on the day with goodson sale.

Alfie Purl Yarns & Textiles - FreeNew to Purton House, Emma andFoz have been farming wool sheepfor many years and produce somewonderful knitting yarns andtextiles such as scarves, bags andvegetarian rugs. Emma willdemonstrate the art of spinning,and you can have a free goyourself. www.alfiepurl.co.uk

Willow Weaving from £5(Saturday only)Linda Rees makes beautiful willowtrays and other products which willbe on sale. You can also have a goat making something, with pricesstarting at £5.
