HORIZONTAL SPINDLE CNC RECIPROCATING TABLE SURFACE GRINDING MACHINE CHS 410H is a 3 AXIS machine offered with Siemens 828D SL controls for both axes. Machine will be with full enclosure and will be CE certified. The special feature of CHS 410H is the modular design concept incorporating rigid, multi-piece grey cast iron column housing all units with the exception of the hydraulic and coolant lubricant system and the switch cabinet. The solid construc-tion of all assembly units provides rigidity for the machine during grinding.

• Base is made of FG 260 graded casting, stress relieved and provided with ribbings and rugged in construction to avoid any vibration resulting in better dampening effect. • All slides and housing are made up of FG-260 graded cast iron. All castings are stress relieved and seasoned. Guide way seating areas are scraped very accurately.• Fitted with linear bearings of M & V type on the vertical axis • Ball screw of Grade C3 for Vertical Feed (HIWIN / MTAR/Korta)• Three CNC axes for Vertical, reciprocating table and cross feed axis• AC Servo motors are with built in Encoder for positioning. Position display is on the Operating panel of the machine• The Cross table is mounted on V and flat guide ways and specially designed for rigidity• The Work table is of size 1000mm X 400 mm and to accommodate fixture to clamp job • The grinding spindle is directly coupled with an AC induction (Siemens) motor • Variable frequency drive for the Grinding Spindle• Pneumatic system for air purge of the spindle and retraction of grinding wheel head• Automatic mechanical retraction up to 50microns of the vertical axis in case of power failure or any alarm takes place. Retraction is aided by the air at a supply pressure of 4-5bars• Partially covered work room enclosure with top cover to take of the grinding mist in the operational area• Fitted with work room illumination• Stand alone Rittal made Electrical Control Panel• Wall mounted panel cooler on the switch cabinet (Werner Finley)• The control panel is built with Siemens/Schneider/ Switch Gear Components.• Ammeter/ Voltmeter and KWH mounted on the panel for the indication. • Power supply suitable for 415V AC/3phase/3wire system
