8:45AM ORDER OF WORSHIP HYMNS & ANTHEM 11AM ORDER OF WORSHIP

†oPening hymn #2 How Great Thou ArtO Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder Consider all the worlds Thy hands have made,

I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder, Thy power throughout the universe displayed:

(Chorus) Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee: How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee: How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

When through the woods and forest glades I wander And hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees;

When I look down from lofty mountain grandure And hear the brook and feel the gentle breeze: (Chorus)

And when I think that God, His Son not sparing Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;

That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin: (Chorus)

When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart!

Then I shall bow in humble adoration, And there proclaim, my God, how great Thou art! (Chorus)

anthem How Firm a FoundationHow firm a foundation ye saints of the Lord,

Is laid for thy faith in His excellent Word! What more can He say than to thee He hath said,

To thee who for refuge to Jesus have fled?

“Fear not, I am with thee, O be not dismayed, For I am thy God, and will still give thee aid;

I’ll strengthen thee, help thee, and cause thee to stand, Upheld by My righteous, omnipotent hand.

“When through fiery trials thy pathway shall lie, My grace all-sufficient shall be your supply: The flame shall not hurt thee; I only design

Thy dross to consume and thy gold to refine.

“The soul that on Jesus hath leaned for repose I will not, I will not desert to its foes;

That soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake, I’ll never, no, never, no never forsake!”

†closing hymn #595 Lead On, O King EternalLead on, O King eternal, the day of march has come;

Henceforth in fields of conquest Thy tents shall be our home. Through days of preparation Thy grace has made us strong,

And now, O King eternal, we lift our battle song.

Lead on, O King eternal, ‘til sin’s fierce war shall cease, And holiness shall whisper the sweet amen of peace.

For not with sword’s loud clashing, nor roll of stirring drums With deeds of love and mercy the heavenly kingdom comes.

Lead on, O King eternal, we follow not with fears, For gladness breaks like morning where’er Thy face appears.

Thy cross is lifted o’er us, we journey in its light; The crown awaits the conquest: Lead on, O God of might.
