Navigation button - allows you to scroll through menus & highlight items. Headset button - toggles the headset on or off Mute button - toggles the mute feature on or off Speakerphone button - toggles the speaker on or off Volume button - increase or decrease volume for handset, headset, speakerphone and ringing Help button - activates the Help menu Soft-key buttons - each button activates a soft-key. Soft-keys point to options displayed along the bottom of the phone screen. Soft-key options can change depending on the status of your phone Foot stand button - adjust the angle of the phone

Message button - provides autodial access to the voice messaging system Directory button - open & closed the Directories menu. Use this to access call logs and personal directories and corporate directory when available Setting button - provides access to phone settings such as contracts & ringer sound. Services button - provides access to phone services Message Waiting Indicator – lamp illuminates when messages are received into the

voicemail box of the Prime Number as well an envelope icon will flash beside the number. For secondary lines that have voicemail, an envelope icon will flash beside that number This lamp will flash to indicate an incoming call.

Top of screen display - shows your primary telephone number of your set, the date & Time Bottom of screen display – shows the soft-key options which change depending on the status of the phone. The above picture shows the phone in an “idle” position – no incoming or outgoing calls. When you engage a line the soft-keys options will change to items such as “redial” “end call” “call forward” and “more”. The “more” soft-key when selected will provide even more options.

Middle portion of screen display - shows information on the call state, the caller ID, duration of the call Programmable buttons - these will be the telephone number(s) assigned to this phone and the telephone number will display in the screen display. If the 2nd - 6th programmable button is spare it can be programmed as an auto dial
