Phase 1: Project assessment and functional analysis (3 weeks)
- Functions and Operations – identify business functions of each building, and its essential operations
- Access – define the access requirements and restrictions – by day, times and location – of authorized users necessary to enable the intended function of the building
- Interdependence – identify interdependencies and access requirements of authorized and revenue to the common areas, restricted areas and secure/prohibited areas.
- Shared risks – define the shared risks and single points of failure created by business functions and building infrastructure together with the access requirements of authorized users.
