I decided to arrange both of my classrooms with small groupinstruction in mind. The student desks, in both of the room are spread

out enough for easy access between all students and the teacher. Theteachers desk and places of instruction are arranged so that eachstudent can be seen by the teacher at all times. The students are ableto see the instruction presentations by the way the room is arranged. Iwould use the round desk in both of my classrooms for small groupinstruction directed by the teacher. If the students are broken up intodi!erent learning le"els, for e#ample in a learning support classroom, itwould be easier to ha"e one designated group at the round table torecei"e their instruction and then bring the other students o"er fortheir instruction. I belie"e that setting the classroom up in a smallgroup instruction in mind will help bring community in the classroom

because the students will know that they can count on their $teams%whene"er they ha"e worksheets or group e#periments.
