Thank you for purchasing the Clothes Moth & Carpet Beetle Kit. This kit is designed to aid in the control of clothes moths and carpet beetles. For the control of other pests not listed, please refer to the chemical label of the enclosed products or refer to our website at http://www.epestsupply.com for other pest kits.

Before applying any pesticides please refer to the label directions for the proper use as well as precautionary measures that should be taken before you use or apply these materials.

General Suggestions For Use:

Clothes moths and carpet beetles feed on a natural substance called Kerotin, that is found in wools, and natural animal skins. Before applying these products, perform a thorough inspection of all clothes made of natural wool and animal skins. For best results - dry clean all wool clothing and place in moth resistant bag or plastic tub. Visual inspection of each garmet is also satisfactory as long as each piece is turned inside out, and completely inspected for damage, dead insects, etc. If any live or dead insects are found, dry cleaning and placement into a suitable moth resistant bag or tub is recommended. If moths or beetles cannot get to the clothes, they cannot damage them. Rugs can be rolled and placed into a plastic bag or sprayed and stacked on top of each other.

Temprid Ready Spray - Spray behind and under furniture, corners of rooms, behind curtains, window sills, rugs, and other places where moths can hide. Be sure and test sensitive fabrics for bleeding or discoloration before making a full application. Read and follow label directions before use.

Prozap Insect Guard Strip - Kills moths, �ies, beetles and other insects as listed for up to four (4) months. Remove from sealed bag and place in areas out of reach of children and pets. One 80 gram strip will treat 900 to 1200 cubic feet which is about equal to an average room 10’ x 13’ with an 8-foot ceiling for up to four (4) months. In a larger room, if more than one strip is required, keep them at least 10 ft apart. Record the date of installation so that the old strip may be replaced with a new, fresh, full-strength strip at the end of the four (4) month period or when e�ectiveness diminishes. Read and follow label directions before use.

BioCare Clothes Moth Traps - Catches webbing clothes moths during their mating season by using a natural pheromone lure. Long-term use of the Clothes Moth Trap will reduce troubling infestations without the use of toxic chemicals. Read and follow label directions before use.

CB-80 Aerosol - Used as a fog into closets, dresser drawers, etc. It is excellent for use as a quick knockdown treatment for a variety of insects. Direct the fog towards the ceiling and into corners. Depress the nozzle 5 full seconds per average size room. 1-2 seconds for closets, under rugs, etc. CB-80 contains natural pyrethrin which is known to kill insects very quickly while not leaving any residue. Be sure that all people and pets vacate the premises and to turn o� and cover aquariums before application of this product. Be sure to wear proper respiratory equipment when using this product. Normal time to vacate is 1 hour. Be sure to open doors and windows upon returning and air out premises for a minimum of 30 minutes. Read and follow label directions before use.

It will take some time to obtain control. Control is not immediate. Be patient and allow the materials to work. Repeat application in 2-3 weeks or as required. This kit contains enough products to treat the average 2,000 sq ft home 2 times. As a general rule, these materials are not designed to completely eliminate pests from your home or business. Most pesticides are short lived and require regular applications on a monthly or quarterly basis to maintain their e�ectiveness. In addition, depending on the insect species, overcoming the egg laying process and the life cycle process, elimination of insects that may be living inside walls or other untreatable areas and obtaining 100% elimination may not be possible with this kit. If 100% control is desired, then a professinal pest company should be contracted who can provide you with services regularly.
