Metronome offers a suite of cloud solutions, following our MADE (Metronome Advanced DevOps Engineering) methodologies to allow our customers to take advantage of the cloud’s flexibility and scalability.

MADE provides cloud infrastructure services and transition engineering services to support the movement of workloads onto service infrastructures within DoD networks, implemented as a “private cloud” service deployments. We support cloud development services and application migration across multiple-level security domains. We are migrating and building cloud frameworks and migrating legacy enterprise applications and data from unclassified cloud (AWS/NIPR) to classified cloud (SIPR/JWICS) to reduce threats, hacks, and to share data information on a classified network.

CLOUD TRANSITIONINGWe transition to the cloud by first identifying the cloud architecture requirements and identifying common services that will enable us to also transition legacy applications into the new cloud architecture. The designs of our cloud architectures are built within frameworks that suit the needs of our applications. Therefore, one of the first steps in designing our cloud environment is determining which framework to use. We offer several frameworks that can be implemented, depending on the needs of the cloud service that is being developed. We develop detailed plans for the cloud service’s lifecycle thats assist managers to identify the phases of development, required changes to the development phases, and which modules or components are priorities.

APPLICATION INTEGRATIONMetronome provides integration support to ensure successful deployment of cloud services to government systems. The goal of this support is to ensure enterprise interoperability within respective deployment domains. Metronome staff is responsible for documenting all software customizations and configuration changes required to satisfy integration and deployment. Metronome personnel work with the Agile/SAFe software development process to design, develop, test and deploy application and web services that meet the prioritized backlog of business owners. Our staff develops and maintains software tests consistent with internal Test Plans and DevOps pipeline requirements.

SCRUM MASTERSMetronome uses our MADE methodology to support cloud software development efforts in a variety of environments. MADE is a philosophical approach to improve projects and organizations by automating processes, completing work in smaller pieces and eliminating bottlenecks in personnel and technical resources. For DevOps advocates, automating and combining IT operations with development and security is paramount. We provide Linux and Windows development services using Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud containers. Our developers use languages including Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, .Net, Perl, and Ruby for full-stack software development. Jira and Remedy ticketing software is used for bug and issue tracking. We support technology stacks that consists of, in part, Mesosphere’s DC/OS, AWS, C2S, Azure, Apache NiFi, Kafka, Storm, ElasticSearch, Accumulo, Kibana, Jenkins Zeppelin, etc.

CLOUD SECURITYMetronome provides systems security solutions to cloud computing environments, including cloud software assurance, the software development lifecycle, and the appropriate integration of identity and access management solutions. We complete Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation artifacts including Security Controls Traceability Matrices (SCTMs), test plans, requirements matrices, and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checklists, CONOPS, configuration guides. We analyze information assurance (IA) policies, capabilities, and requirements and document recommendations to the government for the development or refinement of IA security solutions. Metronome analysts also provide system security engineering services for functions such as Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V), test organization processes, and Certification & Accreditation (C&A).
