Page 1: Club Life - October & November 2012 Newsletter

The energy at CRCC

this summer has been at

an all-time high! While

some programs and

activities see a dip in

attendance over the

summer months, many

others increase drastically

and this summer was a record-breaking

season. The high energy in various programs

transcended other areas, both in regards to

Members and the staff.

The summer campers were here in droves

and we’ve received outstanding feedback and

even had a few participants’ parents end up

joining as Members because of their children’s

outstanding camp experiences. Both new and

longtime Members beamed with pride and

contagious smiles while attending this summer’s

extremely popular holiday events. A prospective

member that attended our Labor Day Pool

Party said he was pleasantly surprised, “...the

event was great. It was so well-run and everyone

in attendance was very friendly and was simply

relaxing and having fun. We loved it!”

We also have been working on a lot of

projects such as online reservations. If you

haven’t made an online reservation yet, you’ve

got some catching up to do! In the past couple

of months we’ve gone live with online reserva-

tions and the mobile app is better than ever.

Join the hundreds of your fellow Members who

have found that making online reservations is

easy and convenient! Learn more on page 2.

As you’ve become accustomed to seeing, we

always spend quite a bit of time and resources

“sprucing up” the Club during the summer

months, so the next time you’re at CRCC you’ll

notice the new front entryway of pavers and

marble columns; the new pavers that replaced

the concrete pathways from the Carousel,

Clubhouse and Pool; the new and refurbished

furniture, paint, and accents in the dining

room; and more! We hope you’ll find that these

improvements make the Club an even better

“home away from home.”

Many of you have recommend the Club on

a regular basis so we’ve been receiving lots of

calls from those wanting to know more about

THE BEST private golf and country club in

Ft. Lauderdale. After a round of golf and lunch

at the Club, a prospective member recently told

me, “Coral Ridge is the perfect example of a

complete club facility with the amenities and

personnel that give a total enjoyment package

to the members.” We hope you will continue to

encourage your friends, family and co-workers

to join us as Members so that they can relax

and unwind with you here at Coral Ridge. We

thank you for promoting your Club!

You may select from the following links: Golf

Shop at 954-449-4420.

OverseedingThe lush ‘green’ turf of last season will be

re-introduced this winter with overseeding on

Monday & Tuesday, October 29 & 30. Rye

grass will be used for the rough. The process

of overseeding involves extensive watering to

ensure the seed stays moist and for germina-

tion to begin. Germination of a grass seed

takes between 10 to 14 days so the golf course

will resume its fast playing surfaces and lower

heights by November 15. The maintenance

staff appreciates your patience.

C LU B EV E N T R E S E RVAT I O N P OL I C Y

Special club events, wine dinners, Saturday night seafood buffets and holiday dining are popular events that sell out and require

the purchase of special food and beverage products, equipment, entertainment, etc. Last minute un-replaced cancellations

(including changes to the party number) are unfair to those Members who are turned away due to full capacity and cause the

Club to incur unnecessary expenses if the reservation is not replaced. As a result, the Club must exercise a firm enforcement of

the special event and holiday dining policy.

• At the time of making your reservation we will charge your account 100% of the event price.

• Please let us know if you have other Members dining with you, so we may contact them.

• You may cancel 7 days prior to event, without being charged.

• If you cancel less than 7 days prior to the event, you will have to pay 100% of the event price.

Note: Should there be a wait list and we are able to fill your reservation less than 6 days prior to the event, your account will be

credited in full.
