    CURD RICE:

    I ngrdients:

    Rice (Cooked soft ly) : 1 bowl( 2 cups approx)

    Curd : 1 Cup

    Milk : 1 cup

    Salt (as per taste) : 1 tea spoon

    Green chilly and

    Ginger paste : 2 tea spoons

    (grind 3 green chillies and inch ginger to fine paste)

    Rai, jeera and urad dal : 1 tea spoon each

    Red chillies : 2 nos.

    Oil : 1 table spoon

    Curry leaves : 8 to 10 nos.

    Hing : tea spoonDhaniya leaves : 1 table spoon(finely chopped)

    Method:Cook one cup of rice by adding 3 to 4 cups of water in a pressure cooker. Riceshould be cooked softly.Take Rice in to a bowl and add curd, milk and salt. M ix well and keep it aside.

    Heat 1 table spoon oil in a saucepan and add rai(mustard seeds) to it. Let it splutter, add ur ad

    dal and jeera, sti r. Af ter i t tur ns to golden brown add hing, red chi ll ies and cur ry leaves. Stir

    add ginger chil ly paste cook for f ew seconds and switch off the flame. Now add this thadka to

    the curd rice. M ix well and keep it aside. Curd r ice wil l be ready with in 1 to hours.

    Tip:Remember milk and r ice should not be very hot. They should be warm.To make it more colorf ul you can add dry frui ts too.
