yA note card should be in MLA format.yA note card should contain any pertinent information you have gathered during your

research.

yA note card denotes one statement, not several.yNote cards should share the same subjects, so that they may be categorized together later.y If information extends past the first line, you must indent any line thereafter, and continue

writing.Record information in the following way:

Source Cards

yThe note card should be in MLA format.yUse A Guide to MLA Documentation,OttoBib, EasyBib&The Citation Machine as

guides/resources.

For example, if I make an Information Card with any information from the book, The Bookof Questions by Gregory Stock, my source card would have this exact citation on it:

Stock, Gregory. The BookofQuestions. New York: Workman Publishing, 1987.

As you can see, the preceding citation contains all of the necessary information and isformatted in MLA format.

yNOTE:Only make a source card immediately following the completion of the firstinformational card (for that source). This will help eliminate the accumulation of source
