Codicote is in the south

The neighbouring towns and villages are Letchworth, Hitchin, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, Baldock, St Alban and Hatfield. These are all close to Codicote.These towns and villages have a variety of places to shop eat and play.

In Codicote for the last two years we have had a big music festival called Codifest. Codifest is on all through the day and a lot of the night. Last year ABBA tribute ban FABBA were popular with a lot of people.

Every year in Codicote we have village day. Village day is a annual event with lots of shows, rides and things to do. At the start there is a big parade through the village which everyone one enjoys.

Codicote (C of E) Primary School is the local school in Codicote. With about 230 children attending the school. A few years ago we had our 150th birthday celebration, Every child in the school at this time made a tile and we have a massive display in the entrance hall. There was also a competition for the best roundabout design.

As a school we attend St Giles church every Easter, Christmas, Harvest and year six leaving service. We sing hymns and say prayers.
