While our learn-by-doing approach to education helps students gain practical career skills, our philosophy also allows students to acquire another set of intangible, but essential, skills. Most hands-on lessons are experienced in a collaborative environment, enabling students to learn how to work as a team with people from diverse backgrounds. Students also learn when and how to lead, an essential component to career advancement.

CBA offers a community of teacher-scholars who encourage students to broaden their perspectives and challenge them to rethink notions of how business operations will function today, tomorrow and in the distant future. Our faculty members also perform research and consulting work for businesses, which gives them direct insight into the latest thinking. This access allows faculty to adapt curriculum to reflect the ever-changing business environment. CBA further enriches the curriculum by having business professionals teach and provide insight to students.
