BackstoryEarth Phase 2

E.P.2 (Earth Phase 2)

OverviewEarth is dying, as a result of this we need to move on to a different world. To facilitate

this program, we intend to genetically modify primates using the virus GG (#12A8). By us-ing this virus the selected primates will gain the ability to man, maintain small spaceshipsand gather information on suitable planets. These spaceships will relay intelligence back to

Earth.

Virus effects:* Extended life

* Immune to illness (that we know of)

* Engineering abilities* Advanced intelligence

The primates will mature in a year. At this time they will be tested to ensure they are ca-pable of carrying out their tasks.

Performance ReviewEach spacecraft will have a built in automated performance review that will trigger every 10

years, this will keep the primates alert and ready for any crisis.

Columbus

Columbus was the first genetically modified primate sent from Earth in the year 2114. Colum-bus was sent into space in a specially created spaceship to collect information on suitableplanets for humans to re-deploy too.

Columbus genetic abilities enable him to maintain his spacecraft as an engineer and to beable to gather relevant information. Due to being genetically modified Columbus still retains

the need to sleep and eats a tailored diet (of space food) even though he will not age or getunwell.

Columbus is a friendly, small purple monkey who lives in his spacesuit, his eyes haveshrunk due to the countless years of staring into space. He hopes one day to fulfill hismission and find a suitable planet for humans to relocate too, but he is afraid of encoun-

ter hostile aliens. However at this moment his spaceship is broken and must try and fix itto carry on.
