The RaT Pack November 18-23 The Sands is no longer, and Frank, Sammy and Dean have left us, but The Rat Pack transports you back to Las Vegas for that moment in popular-music history that has never been equaled.

The coloR PuRPle January 20-25 From the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Alice Walker, Oprah Winfrey’s The Color Purple is an inspiring family saga that tells the unforgettable story of a woman who — through love — finds the strength to triumph over

adversity. Set to a joyous score, it is a story of hope and a celebration of life.

The Pajama Game March 3-8 Love threatens to shut down the Sleep Tite pajama factory as the battle of the sexes plays out in this rollicking classic of the Golden Age of musical comedy. The Pajama Game is a rambunctious pillow fight full of jazzy songs,

hot dance and exuberant laughter.

The DRowsy chaPeRone June 2-7 Called “irresistible, a witty, winning cocktail of a show” (Variety magazine), The Drowsy Chaperone begins when a die-hard musical-theatre fan plays his favorite cast album on his turntable, and the musical literally

bursts into life in his living room, telling the stellar tale of a brazen Broadway starlet trying to find, and keep, her true love.

wickeD July 15-August 9 Long before that girl from Kansas arrived in Munchkinland, two other girls met in the land of Oz. How these two grow to become the Wicked Witch and Glinda the Good Witch makes for the most spellbinding musical in years.

TrouT Fishing in AmericA September 20 This duo’s infectious mix of folk/pop and family music is tempered by the diverse influences of reggae, Latin, blues, jazz and classical music. TFIA recordings have garnered three National Indie

Awards and multiple Parents’ Choice Gold and American Library Awards as well as three Grammy nominations.

Tommy emmAnuel October 4 Back by popular demand for the fourth time in as many years, this two-time Grammy nominee from Down Under never fails to amaze audiences with his “finger style” guitar playing. His amiable stage

presence, flawless musicianship and voluminous repertoire have garnered him hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide.

JAnis iAn November 1 Ella Fitzgerald called her “the best young singer in America.” Chet Atkins said, “Singer? You ought to hear that girl play guitar; she gives me a run for my money!” Reviewers have called her live performances “overwhelming

to the spirit and soul” and “drenched with such passion, the audience feels they’ve been swept up in a hurricane.”

liz cArroll November 7 This Irish-American fiddler is truly a national treasure. The National Endowment for the Arts recognized her work with a National Heritage Fellowship, and the Library of Congress chose her first solo album as a

select record of American folk music.

groovelily January 17 With backgrounds in classical music, musical theatre, jazz and rock, this New York City trio is making a new music that’s all its own. Intelligent, witty, original songs connect lush musical textures and soaring vocals

with a blazing six-string electric violin, lightning-fingered piano and joyful drums.

The TAnnAhill WeAvers January 23 The Tannahill Weavers are one of Scotland’s premier traditional bands. Since forming in 1968, these versatile musicians have consistently received worldwide accolades for their exuberant

performances and outstanding recording efforts that seemingly can’t get better — yet continue to do just that.

KArAn cAsey BAnd March 13 Karan Casey is “the Irish equivalent of Emmylou Harris,” according to the Washington Post. More than a decade ago, American audiences were introduced to Casey fronting the Irish supergroup Solas. She

recently released her fifth solo CD, recorded at her home in County Cork.

Joyce yAng (Special Event) October 5 In June 2005, at age 19, Joyce Yang was

awarded the silver medal at the 12th Van Cliburn International Piano Competition.

Yang continues to captivate audiences and colleagues with her warm and generous

personality combined with musicianship that belies her age.

Don QuiXoTe September 19-21 A fresh breeze will propel the windmills of this classic ballet when celebrated choreographer Anna-Marie Holmes sets this enchanting work on Tulsa Ballet. Based on the novel by Miguel de

Cervantes, this ballet hasn’t been performed in Tulsa since 2001 — and never quite like this!

leGenDs October 31-November 2 Happy tunes and bouyant movements balance the despair of the Great Depression in Paul Taylor’s Black Tuesday. Nacho Duato’s Gnawa, set to an evocative fusion of tranquil Spanish

and North African melodies, deftly melds ballet movement with tribal dance motifs. Jiri Kylian’s Petite Mort is a demonstration of sensuality set to two of Mozart’s piano concertos.

The nuTcRackeR December 13-14 and 18-21 This holiday tale, choreographed by Marcello Angelini, springs to life through the dreams of a child as the Nutcracker and Mouse King battle under a magical, mammoth

Christmas tree. Snowflakes dance, toy soldiers come to life, and visitors from foreign countries perform exotic dances in this yuletide classic.

cinDeRella February 6-8 All-new sets and costumes transform the look of this familiar tale like a glass slipper on a cinder maid! But the story remains the same as the Prince searches for his one true love while

Cinderella’s ugly stepsisters simper and scheme. Choreographed by Ben Stevenson to music by Sergei Prokofiev.

caRniVal March 27-29 Animals come to life when young Oliver Percy spends the night in a museum in Christopher Wheeldon’s Carnival of the Animals. Jazzy costumes and music help fashion Kenneth MacMillan’s

ragtime fantasy Elite Syncopations, set to music by Scott Joplin and others. A world premiere by Massimiliano Volponi completes this spring trilogy.
