India Gospel League (IGL) is an indigenous, Bible-

centered ministry born and operated in the heart of

India. Millions across South Asia still need to hear

the Good News about Jesus, and millions more

need practical blessings like education, medical

care, and economic opportunity. All of IGL’s

ministries are built to be self-sustaining.

More than 85,000 village churches have been

planted by IGL in the past 25 years; and from these,

hope is shining out to a world darkened by

desperate poverty and ancient idolatry. From a

small mission in South India, IGL has grown

to become an international mission sharing the

gospel, serving with compassionate care, and

seeing God at work.

4 Rural & Economic Development

they do have a North American organization that

After four years of faithful service, Marilyn Rath is

stepping away from her leadership role over the

Welcome Center. We are now searching for someone

willing to assume this strategic role. If you would like

to serve the Lord in this way at GBC, contact Pastor

Charlie in the church office.

TRANSPORTATION TO CHURCH NEEDED? We

have contracted with a transportation company to

provide rides to and from our Sunday morning church

services for anyone who cannot drive due to disability

or other restrictions. The drivers are trained to assist

seniors with walkers or in wheelchairs. If you, or

someone you know, could use this service, please

contact the church office. It will be announced later

when this service will begin.

MEN’S RETREAT IS JANUARY 27-28, 2017 Dr. Mark

Bailey, President of Dallas Seminary, will be the guest

speaker both days. Tickets will be $15.00 and include

Friday’s dinner (6:00 pm) and Saturday’s Breakfast

(8:00 am). Tickets will be available Sundays, January 8,

15, and 22.
