Commonwealth Utility Benchmarking Initiative
Executive Order 2019-01 - GreenGov
• Executive Order 2019-01 establishes the goal to strive to achieve a 26% reduction of net greenhouse gas emissions statewide by 2025, and an 80% reduction of net greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 (from 2005 levels).
• Collectively reduce overall agency consumption by 3% per year, and 21 percent by 2025 from 2017 levels.
DGS Procurement
Instrumental in delivering a software program for the comprehensive management of utilities based on the following needs:
• Management & processing of utility bills
• 9000+ electricity accounts
• 1400+ natural gas accounts
• Historic utility consumption information for accurate procurements
• Management of facilities through energy spend

Penn State Facility Engineering Institute
The Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute (PSFEI) has been contracted to assist with the setup and implementation of the EnergyCAP System
PSFEI provides valuable facility services to State Agencies with attention to engineering and project review, energy management, energy markets, training and training support among other services
