Message from the Mayor:
As mayor of the town of Churchbridge, I would like to welcome you, on
behalf of the council and administration, to our community.
Located on the Yellowhead Highway(#16), Churchbridge is a hub with potash
mining to the south on highway #80 and recreation to the north and east-
Duck Mountain Regional Park north on #80; and Asessippi Ski Resort and
Lake of the Prairies east on #16.
We have our own skating rink, curling club, Aquatic Centre, fitness centre,
and nine- hole grass- green golf course. We are home to an excellent K-12
public school and highly regarded daycare.
Our campground is rated as an excellent place to stop or stay at while you visit our warm and friendly
community. Make sure you check out our businesses and visit our Veteran’s Memorial Wall, Photo
Archives and many Heritage Murals displayed throughout the community.
We are proud to be home of the 125 Coin designed by local resident “Rita Swanson”.
Mayor of Churchbridge Jim Gallant
Community Information:
Introduction to the Community
Population: 896 (Stats Can 2017)
Location: Churchbridge is located at the intersection of the Yellowhead Highway #16 and #80 highway which leads to three potash mines. The town is currently experiencing growth due to expansions at those three mines as well as at another mine located about 70 km away. We have an active daycare, a K-12 school and recreation amenities- arena (artificial ice), curling club (artificial ice), aquatic centre, 18-hole disc golf course, dog park,

multi-sport court (bike/board park, basketball/tennis course, beach volleyball court and horseshoe pits) and 9-hole grass- greens golf course that make it appealing to young families. The trading area includes over 4000 people from the RM’s of Churchbridge, Calder and Langenburg; villages of Calder and MacNutt; and the towns of Langenburg and Bredenbury. Being located on the Yellowhead Highway #16, half way between Yorkton and the Manitoba border and midpoint between Saskatoon and Winnipeg, allows access to much of Canada. We also have access to recreation areas located at the Duck Mountain Regional Park (90 Km to North) and Asessippi Winter Ski Resort (70km to the East). The Town encourages construction and new business with tax incentives in the first and second year of ownership. The community is growing and prides itself on its convenient location and facilities available.
