    What would you like to see in the Gold Corridor? Join us for a public forum and let your voice be heard! Now isthe time to provide your thoughts on what you would like to see the corridor become.

    The Gold Corridor includes station areas and neighborhoods along the RTD Gold Rail Line, an 11.2-mile electriccommuter rail transit corridor that connects Denver Union Station to Wheat Ridge, passing through northwestDenver, Adams County, and Arvada. With opening anticipated in 2016, planning and construction are already infull swing!

    Help shape the futureof the Gold Corridor!

    The Denver Regional Council of Governments and its partners were awarded $4.5 million in grant funding from theU.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to help get the greatest benefit from the investment alreadybeing made in transit throughout the region. This grant, along with additional investments from all the partners, isknown as the Sustainable Communities Initiative, or SCI. SCI is helping make smart choices around transit so itworks for people of all ages, incomes and abilities and preserves quality of life in the Denver region.

    Over the past decade plans have been developed at the local level for individual stops along the line. TheSustainable Communities Initiative (SCI) looks at the entire corridor to create a unifying vision and goals, identifychallenges and opportunities and develop transit-oriented development (TOD) implementation strategies. That's

    where you come in we want your feedback on how to make the Gold Corridor successful!

    A community open house where you can learn more about what is going on in the Gold Corridor andprovide feedback in a fun, interactive and family-friendly setting. Light refreshments will be served and Spanishtranslation services will be available.

    Wednesday, Oct.30 - Drop in any time between 5:30 and 8 p.m. Short presentations will be given at 6,6:45 and 7:30 p.m. Participants can visit a variety of booths and take part in activities at their own pace.
