TERMINAL B HEADHOUSE
The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, along with LaGuardia Gateway Partners and Delta Air Lines, has embarked on a major modernization and redevelopment program to position LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to meet the needs of the 21st Century. In January 2015, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo established an Airport Advisory Panel that published a report in July 2015 titled “A 21st Century Airport for the State of New York: The New LaGuardia - Guiding Principles for a Comprehensive Airport Master Plan.” The current redevelopment implements the Advisory Panel’s vision with a comprehensive and implementable plan for the future of the airport which will include new state-of-the-art Terminals B and C, Parking Garages, electrical substations, new roadway and utility networks, and a new AirTrain connection to Willets Point.
