Community Partner Organization Guidelines
In order to be considered as a bike recipient organization, potential community partners must meet the following requirements:
• Organization must work with children (ages 2-18 or still in high school) • Bikes must be intended primarily for children’s use • Must be one of the following types of organizations:
o Nonprofit or community organization serving primarily lower income youth/families
o School or school district serving primarily lower income students o After-school programs, youth camps or sports team serving lower
income youth/families o Established faith-based organization o Housing services, public/co-op housing, neighborhood associations
serving primarily low income families • Must be located within a 50 mile radius of Atlanta, GA and/or must serve
demographic within these boundaries o Organizations that are based in Atlanta but send bikes to different
states or countries do not meet this criteria • Must provide own transportation and be willing and able to get to the
warehouse for Giveaway Day on Saturday, December 8, 2018 • Must be 501(c)3 tax-exempt or public sector
