Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)

Provides heating assistance to low income clients. Liheap Subsidy runs through

November and mid December. Liheap Crisis runs from January through March or until

funds are depleted. Contact the Outreach Office for assistance.

Kentucky Health Benefit Exchange (KHBE)-Insurance

Assists clients in finding appropriate health insurance coverage

Cars to Work helps people obtain affordable, dependable transportation to maintain

employment and improve their quality of life. The program purchases and accepts

donations of automobiles, makes appropriate or necessary repairs, and sells them to

people who are referred from social service and government agencies. The

agency case worker and Cars to Work personnel collaborate to assist the potential

buyer with obtaining a refundable-interest loan on a vehicle that is covered by a

warranty for major repairs throughout the loan’s duration.
