Introduction

CAIH Contractors Limited is a private limited company registered with the Corporate

Affairs Commission of Nigeria. CAIH Contractors is a fully owned Nigerian company that

provides Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services to

the Nigeria and international Oil & Gas industry. We also provide Offshore/ Onshore fabric

maintenance/repairs (painting and coating program), Inspections, brownfield verification

and facility surveillance.

Material Procurement

CAIH Contractors delivers best quality certified material that is fit for purpose. We treat

each piece of item as an order, by deploying our experienced engineers to conduct

requisition verification to ensure correct and complete material description and

specification. We have access to European and North American suppliers/ distributors and

OEMs to facilitate supply of following category of materials; Piping/Fittings (Carbon steel/

Stainless steel or Corrosion Resistant Alloy (CRA) Pipes of various sizes, coated Bolts

& Nuts, Flanges, Elbows, Fittings, valves of different types and sizes and Electrical &

Instrumentation materials.

CAIH Contractors is able to employ the services of qualified third party QA/QC vendors

on our procured materials. We effectively handle rush orders and expedited delivery via

air freight at competitive pricing.

Procurement Value Add Services:

Materials/ Equipment Handling Logistics (Packaging, Preservation/ Storage and Warehousing)

CAIH Contractors provides in-country, safe and efficient material/ equipment loading/

unloading and logistics handling. We arrange for material/ equipment packaging,

transportation, warehousing/ storage (including temperature/ climate controlled storage

– available in US/ Canada only). We are able to store project material or operational

equipment in a leased warehouse and manage inventory and handling on behalf of our

client.

Fabrication

CAIH Contractors have her fabrication yard at Eputu in Ibeju Lekki LGA of Lagos State.

We also operate a mobile (on-site) fabrication workshop concept. Our mobile fabrication

system comprises of all equipment required to carry out cutting, beveling, welding, testing

(including hydrotest), blasting and painting and a mobile darkroom /NDT & QC

equipment. Our mobile fabrication concept enable us to provide client tailored service and

reduce/ streamline cost, as only equipment required for the size/ magnitude of the job is

mobilized to site hence, cost savings passed on to the client.

We have capability to handle the following fabrication scope of work among others: Tanks,

Piping/ pipe support, barrels and associated piping, flow lines, drains, separators,

manifolds and structural deck extensions etc.

Fabrication Value Add Services:

PipeFit Assurance (Design Verification)

CAIH Contractors is able to perform PipeFit assurance to ensure ‘first time fit’ and avoid

clashes for all fabricated spools and structural components. Benefits of this value added

service include identification and elimination of potential clashes prior to field installation,

which in turn saves time and prevent reworks. This forms part of our standard fabrication

package at CAIH Contractors. We have alliance with a Canadian leader in 3D Modeling

and Reverse engineering for world class technical support. We can also perform the

service on items fabricated by third party contractors at a fee.

Installation/ Construction

CAIH Contractors is able to mobilize construction crews that comprise of fitters, cutters,

riggers, welders etc. to perform onshore or offshore platform based crew construction/

installation works. Additionally, we are able to mobilize quality manpower at short notices

for emergency operations. Our offshore crew members are trained in water survival and

have the requisite offshore safety awareness. We carry out installation activities, from

planning to scaffold erect and dismantling. We are able to perform pre-commissioning/

commissioning of newly installed or modified facilities.

Construction Value Add Services:

Job Cards Development

CAIH Contractors can develop job cards which provide details of each activity in a task.

The job card identifies/ sequences each step to complete for a specific task including

durations etc. This serves as an excellent planning tool and also as an aid for progress

tracking measurement and reporting. The job cards are developed by experienced

construction engineers/ supervisors and superintendents to ensure quality of deliverable.

Benefits include schedule optimization and facilitated review and approval of

construction procedures and methodology prior to the commencement of actual

construction activities.

upgrades at various locations. Scope of inspection activities includes; inspection programs to

ascertain integrity of existing facilities e.g. pipeline free span survey, pipeline CP survey. We also

perform repair progr ams to maintain/upgrade integrity of existing facilities e.g. CP

verification to ascertain the status of an existing facility prior to repair/ modification or tie -in of
