ABOUT US

HISTORY

2010After having been present on the Romanian territory, the headquarters in Timisoara (Romania) become bigger to expand the activities of the Group in East Europe.

HeliopolisRo is created, a Romanian company active in the development and management services of renewable energy initiatives and urban regeneration.

2014The company Mocitaly Lda is acquired, with headquarters in Maputo (Mozambique), to expand activities in the Sub-Saharan Africa. The company is active since 2004 in the electrification of rural villages with off-grid systems.

2015Capital increase and entrance within Heliopolis of various strategic partners.

2008Heliopolis was born with the objective of developing business opportunities in the sector of renewable energies and energy efficiency.

2009First steps in the development through partnerships with Italian multiutility companies to realize important photovoltaic projects.

2016 Acquisitions of areas for urban regeneration and strengthening on the organizational structure.

2017 Acquisition of an EsCo active in northern Italy , supported by a minibond issued by FININT SGR.

2018Opening of newheadquarters in Milan.

WE ARE PRESENT WITH OUR OFFICES IN ITALY,ROMANIA AND MOZAMBIQUE, AND WORKIN DIFFERENT AREAS OF EUROPEAND OF THE SUB SAHARAN AFRICA.

We are a team of about 80 people engaged in different parts of the world.

We collaborate with private and public entities to realize projects of urban regeneration, production of clean energy and energy efficiency.

Paolo SignorettiChairman Chief Executive Officer

Paolo Signoretti has a significant experience in developing renewable energy plants, urban regeneration and energy efficiency. He is president, CEO and founder of Heliopolis as well as member of the Board of Directors of Alerion Clean Power SpA.

Riccardo RicciHead of M&A and Business Development

Riccardo Ricci has been director of various vehicle companies active in the renewable energy and real estate development sector since 2008.He is also managing director of Heliopolis and of the M&A and Development areas.

Gianni BosinHead of Energy Renewable

Gianni Bosin has various professional experiences in business organization, information systems and corporate sustainability. Formerly responsible of the Consultancy, Environment and Quality division (1999-2012), he has also been commercial director of SEA SpA (2012-2016). He is today one of the directors of Heliopolis with responsibility for the organization of the various areas of the group and responsible for the development of large renewable plants.

Nicola ZuechInfrastructure Manager

Nicola Zuech is the project manager in the field of infrastructure and urban regeneration as well as technical director of the engineering division.

Délio Carlos MarinzeMozambique Area Manager

Delio has been involved in the development and implementation of several renewable energy projects in South Africa and he is an expert of project management. Since 2006 he has been active in relations with energy operators and international institutions, such as Funae and World Bank. Today he is the Area Manager of Mozambique for Heliopolis.

Alexandru Iancovschi Romania Area Manager

Alexandru Iancovschi, has worked for Patrom Srl (2002) and later as general manager and member of the Board of Directors of Casirom SA in Romania. Since 2013 he has been the operational director of HeliopolisRo Energy & Engineering.

Manuela Panzini Urban Regeneration Project Manager

Manuela Panzini has proven experience in public administration and in major real estate development companies, for which she carried out project management, real estate valuation, environmental assessment of plans and projects. Today she works in Heliopolis as project manager in the urban regeneration area.

Roberto FennerHead of Environment & Efficiency Energy

Roberto Fenner in the past has covered various managerial roles in the technical-operational field for important multinational companies both in Italy and abroad, particularly in Asia and Europe. He is today the operational manager of Heliopolis Energy Management.
