INTRODUCTION
WHAT DOES ANEST IWATA STAND FOR?
The ANEST IWATA Group is a conti nually acti ve corporati on which is oriented toward steady development. By con-sistently developing new products and leading innovati ons in technology, we always strive toward constant impro-vement and perfecti on. The ANEST IWATA group is the innovator for employing the latest applicati on processes.
There are a great variety of technical demands required of spray painti ng engineering depending on the various sectors which use the technology. Thus, there are huge diff erences in the parameters regarding the required qua-lity of coati ng equipment. Only an opti mized combinati on of the technical parameters will convince the operator and encourage him to enjoy working with the selected equipment.
ANEST IWATA knows the needs and quality demands of our customers and off ers conti nually improved product soluti ons, thus ensuring a high degree of perfecti on.

SHORT OVERVIEW
Company Founder Iwata Seisakusho
The ANEST IWATA Group, founded by Iwata Seisakusho in 1926, is a leading global manufacturer in the sector of coati ng tech-nology with over 1,300 employees around the world. We off er high-quality coati ng technology for the applicati on of spray ma-terials in the fi elds of car refi nish, woodworking and industrial paint fi nishing as well as airbrushing for all areas of individual applicati on around the globe.
In additi on to pumps and compressors, spray painti ng systems are among the most important products of the company.
The headquarters of the ANEST IWATA Group are located in Ja-pan. The newest products and leading technologies which are uti lized around the world are developed in our technical centers in Japan.
To focus on the German market, ANEST IWATA established AN-EST IWATA Deutschland GmbH in Leipzig. This locati on focuses on setti ng up and expanding technical sales support as well as caring for the network of dealers in Germany, Austria, and Eas-tern Europe.

HISTORY
ANEST IWATA has been developing and producing fi rst-class products for the sectors of spray painti ng and coati ng technology, compressors and vacuum pumps as well as systems engineering since 1926.
The fi rst notable milestone was the development of the fi rst spray gun by iwata in 1927. The fi rst piston compres-sors followed airless spray technology and pumps. In the 1960s, the fi rst ANEST IWATA paint-spray lines and air com-pressors with two-way cooling came onto the market, followed by airbrush spray technology, screw compressors, double diaphragm pumps, the world’s fi rst painti ng robot, as well as the world’s fi rst oil-free vacuum compressors and pumps.
THE MOST IMPORTANT DEVELOPMENTS IN ANEST IWATA’S HISTORY
2HVLP Technology: The HVLP (High Volume, Low Pressure) low pressure technology atomizes paint material yet reduces mist levels by using a low internal nozzle pressure, yet higher air consumpti on.
3High T.E.C. System: High Transfer Effi ciency Control in compliance with VOC regulati ons with an effi ciency rate signifi cantly higher than 65%.
4Pre Atomizati on Technology: The Pre Atomizati on Technology with split nozzle - in contrast to the established standard round nozzle - the material is pre-atomized directly at the edge of the nozzle. The result is an even, soft and fi nely atomized spraying stream with low air incoming pressure and less air consumpti on. The spray material can be well directed and less overspray (spraying mist) results. The wet core is evenly developed with a high poten-ti al to reduce material consumpti on. Please read more about this topic on page 10.
In 1993 ANEST IWATA released the fi rst spray painti ng gun with LVLP1 (Low Volume Low Pressure) technology as a successor to the HVLP2 technology. In 1998 we launched the High T.E.C.3 (High Trans-fer Effi ciency Control) spray gun series.
In additi on to low-pressure spraying technology and low-pressure vacuum pumps and booster compressors, the product range was expanded by the product range of AirGunsa (a brand of ANEST IWATA).
Just at the turn of the millennium in the year 2000, ANEST IWATA introduced the most ground-breaking technology of all onto the market: the High-End Pre Atomizati on Techno-logy4 with split nozzle whose high performance has been recommended by paint manufac-turers worldwide and is available around the world.
In 2013 ANEST IWATA united the Pre Atomiza-ti on Technology with the HVLP Technology and released a professional spray gun which had never existed on the market before.
