employees. Our whole team is devoted to maintaining a safety-focused andenvironmentally sound business; our safety culture is promoted by everymember of our team through planning, implementing and evaluating safetypractices on a day after day basis.
Our safety plan is proactive and action-oriented; everyone from executive totrades people are involved in making a zero-incident place of work a reality.We use daily pre-task planning sessions, ongoing safety inspections, weeklysafety meetings, safety seminars, special equipment training, safety manualreviews and email updates to assist in attaining our goal of zero incidents.Our supervisors receive training in the fall protection, excavation andtrenching, rst aid, CPR and conned space entry procedures, substance
abuse awareness and recognition. New employees are required to completeour new hire safety orientation program.
Our substance abuse program includes pre-hire, post accident, tness for
duty, for cause and random drug and alcohol testing. All employees, includingmanagement, are subject to random testing.MEL is compliant to all the safety requirement by the relevant governmentbodies which do monitoring and safety enforcement.
