The Czech Air Navigation Institute (CANI) is a modern fully-equipped Air Navigation Services center with 30 years of industry and Air Traffic Control training experience. Our strong cus-tomer focus, multi-national team of qualified instructors, deep domain knowledge and friendly staff make CANI the training provider of choice for many Air Navigation Service Providers from Europe and beyond.

Main Scope of Activities• provision of air navigation services in the airspace of the Czech Republic and at the Prague,

Brno, Ostrava and Karlovy Vary airports,• air traffic flow management,• organizing and managing use of airspace,• providing a search and rescue service,• providing an aeronautical information service,• ensuring the operation and maintenance of the infrastructure for the provision of services,• organizing and providing specialized training and education for the ANS CR employees in

the ANS CR Training Centre,• Flight Inspection Services.

The quality and safety of the air traffic services provided is a reflection of the company, which already has its mission written in its name. Air navigation services is one of the crucial compo-nents of the worldwide air transportation system. To reach the highest level of safety, reduction of delay flights and effectiveness of the services provided are the main criteria for the Air Navi-gation Services of the Czech Republic.

The Czech airspace is used by almost 700 000 flights with more than 100 milion passangers on board every year. The mission of Air Navigation Services of the Czech Republic is therefore to take part in the provision of cost effective, long-term sustainable aviation navigation services in the environment of evolving functional airspace blocks. In the dynamically evolving air transpor-tation environment, its services are designed to meet the expectations of all users with regard to current and future demand at both the national level and that of the European Air Traffic Management development context.
