TEMI was founded by the late Bongi Majozi, a fearless female entrepreneur in relentless pursuit of delivering quality projects in the infrastructure industry.

Temi Construction (TEMI) is a 100% black-youth and 50% woman-owned, full-service construction, building and civil engineering company. We pride ourselves in being recognised by major organisations for attaining the status of preferred contractor, as well as being able to achieve our clients’ organisational goals.

Temi Construction was established in 2010 as a construction company. The organisation specialised in infrastructure development, with a primary focus on servicing both the private and public sectors on an end-to-end scale.

The company has since evolved its focus to include the provision of commercial, residential, educational and healthcare construction, therefor improving the quality of living for those within the communities which TEMI operates.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT Temi Construction is passionate about skills and career development and partners with top institutions to facilitate this. Each year we participate in the Extended Public Works Programme (EPWP) and encourage on-site training.

EMPLOYMENT TEMI employs 1379 people through permanent and subcontracted labour.

B-BBEE LEVEL ONE B-BBEE contributor. 100% black owned. CSD MAA0437720.

INTERNSHIPS We now have a partnership with GDID, where we have interns coming in every 8 months to learn from the company’s very best.

Govan Mbeki AwardsIn 2016, TEMI was awarded a Govan Mbeki Merit Award for Best Corporate Social Responsibility partner, and has since been awarded the Best Established Youth Contractor title at the 2017 Govan Mbeki Provincial Human Settlement Awards.

Premier’s Service Exellence AwardsTEMI has also recieved the Infrastructure Development Awards at the Gauteng Premier’s Service Exellence Awards 2018.

Habitat for Humanity South Africa And Nelson Mandela Build Week 2018 and 2019HabitatforHumanityofSouthAfricaawardedTEMIteamacertificateofappreciationforservicein the Lawley community during the Nelson Mandela Day Build event 2018 in celebration of Madiba’s Centenary Birthday.

For the second year running TEMI was recognised for community engagement and upliftment. TheteamhasreceivedacertificateforoutstandingcommunityserviceduringtheNelson Mandela Build Week event in Palm Ridge.

Involving ourselves in these initiatives enables us to expand our community reach and positive societal transformation.
