A long journey

Our story is a journey whose path has been laid down

as a foundation, every step of it well thought out. Year

after year, progress after progress, the company has

become established as a point of reference and as a

leader in the market of wood products.

With the opening of the saw-mills by Josef Pircher in Dobbi-aco, the Pircher story begins.

1947 After taking stock follow-ing the enforced closure during the war, Pircher effectively starts again from nothing.

1956 His son, Reinhard, begins to work alongside him in the management of the business which, with the years, grows and expands in production.

A path of growth

At times, we came to a crossroads but we believe

we always took the right path, guided by our love of

and respect for nature. Along the way, we have met

fellow travellers who have told their own story; we

have shared experience and know-how in the spirit of

exchanging knowledge for a continual improvement,

slowly but surely.

1968 The fi rst original Finnish sauna is completed.

1978 The «Holzmarkt- DIY» range goes into production.

1990 The warehouse and logistics for the Holzmarkt products is transferred to Bondeno di Gonzaga (MN) to better serve customer needs.

1991 The «Tartaruga» range of outdoor products in treated wood is launched.

1992 The fi rst beams in lami-nated wood are produced.

1997 The new works for the production of the «Vivitetto» range goes into operation.

1997/98 The quality and constant search for innovation which has distinguished the Pircher brand for over 70 years is recognised and certifi ed with an ISO 9001 and 14001 standard.

2003 The new logistics and service centre is unveiled in Rolo (RE).

December 2003 Reinhard Pircher, a man whose cour-age and passion has led the company to success, passes away. His son Christian takes over with renewed dedica-tion and vision.

Today Pircher today employs 170 people, has 5 plants over 3 regions, 6 brands known across Italy with over 20,000 articles.
