Invitation for Campus Placement Drive We are pleased to introduce ourselves as one of the largest constituent college of University of Delhi. Our college offers all the three streams of Humanities, Sciences and Commerce giving an opportunity to students from various social and economic backgrounds to be part of and excel in higher education. A detailed list of courses offered by the college is available on the college website (http://mlncdu.ac.in). The college has an active Placement Cell along with the Career Development Centre (http://www.mlncdu.ac.in/placementcell) which looks into the placement for its students from all streams. The objective of the college Placement Cell is to help students identify their career goals and provide an edge into the present day competitive job market. The scope of work of Placement Cell extends from organizing workshops to providing internships to students in various organizations during summer breaks and preparing students for the final placements. In the past, the placement cell has conducted similar events in which several leading companies participated and recruited bright talents. We will be extremely obliged if you could be a part of our endeavour of making the untapped talent shine. We invite you for a Campus Placement Drive for final year students. We are keen to organize a Campus Placement Drive during March-April 2014 at our institute for the Final Year students. These students will be appearing in final year examination in May 2014. Therefore they can be available to take up their employment from June 2014. We will be providing you the supporting infrastructural facilities for conducting Tests, Interview, Presentations, and Group Discussion. About Motilal Nehru College

Motilal Nehru College is one of the largest constituent colleges of University of Delhi. As

an expansion of the university, the college was opened by the Delhi Administration in

1964. Since then it is gaining popularity and recognition far and wide. The college boasts

of sprawling campus, huge fully equipped library, newly built state of the art air

conditioned conference hall equipped with sound and video projection system, fully

equipped science and computer laboratories, digital resource centre equipped with high

speed LAN/Wi-Fi internet connectivity, spacious lecture theatres, lush green lawns and

a vast playground.

The college takes pride in having one of the best faculties in University of Delhi. The

Limited, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Cians Analytics, AON Hewitt, Capital IQ, and Grail

Research along with other companies have visited the college for the Recruitment in the

previous years.



Recruitment Process

Companies that wish to participate in the recruitment at Motilal Nehru College

are required to indicate the job profile, preferred skill set and approximate Cost

To Company by dropping a mail to [email protected] or by filling the

company registration form (http://mlncdu.ac.in/placementcell ). Based on this

information, the schedule for the placement drive is fixed by the placement cell

in consultation with the company. The students are informed about the company

and the job profile. The interested students register for the placement drive.

On Campus: The drive is conducted as scheduled. Companies can choose to give

a pre-placement presentation. The entire procedure for recruitment (GD,

aptitude test, PI etc.) is left to the company’s choice. All facilities and logistics for

the recruitment will be arranged by the placement cell.

Off Campus: Companies which are unable to visit the Campus are provided with

the updated CV/Resumes of the registered students. The company can shortlist

the students and call them for the recruitment process at their office. Post

recruitment process the recruiting company is required to announce and intimate

the college placement cell about the final list of selected candidates.



Facilities for on campus recruiters:

The college provides all necessary infrastructural facilities and logistics required

for the placement drive. The company is requested to inform the college

placement cell about the arrangements required for the placement drive.
