Dear Mr. Jain,

I am pleased to inform you that you have been called for written test and/or interview foradmission to Ph.D programme in Computer Science and Engineering under the

prestigious Start Early Scheme at IIT Gandhinagar for Semester-II of Academic Year

2014-15. The test and interview for Computer Science and Engineering will be

conducted at IIT Gandhinagar, located at Vishwakarma Government Engineering

College, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad 382424,on9th November 2014 (Sunday). Thetime of reporting will be 08:30 A.M.

The detailed instructions are appended below.

Please note that this letter is merely a call for interview and in any way does not

guarantee admission to Ph.D. programme of IIT Gandhinagar.

INSTRUCTION FOR THE CONDIDATES

1. The candidate must bring a copy of his/her application, a passport size

photograph, rank certificate at the end of 6th

Semester and original and

photocopies of his/her mark sheets and degree certificates for verification.

2. Candidates are advised to ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria andproduce original certificates etc. for verification at the time of interview.

3. All the candidates called for Interview will be paid to and fro single second-sleeper

class railway fare by the shortest route from their place of residence to the Institute.

They have to produce evidence (tickets) in support of their claim.

4. Students joining Ph.D programme under the prestigious Start Early scheme will be

considered for fellowship/stipend based on the laid down norms.

5. If selected, you are required to pay the fees and deposits as applicable within the

stipulated time to confirm your admission.

6. The Institute reserves the right to withdraw the admission in case candidate DOES

NOT fulfill minimum qualification / required percentage of marks in qualifying

examination or supplies any false information.

Please note that this call is merely a request for interview and in any way does not

guarantee admission to Ph.D. programme at IIT Gandhinagar.
