It was a two-storey footwear factory building made of concrete walls, marble and cement floors, glass windows, wood doors and concrete roof.

The factory located in a fully congested area. It was surrounded by factories, a vacant lot and residential houses.

Fire from "Super seal powder" which is difficult to take control of.This is a toxic and flammable chemical.

According to the narratives, the fire started from a flame produced when welders worked on unsafe areas where rubbers, chemicals and combustible materials are present.

Name of Witness Leonilo Alibangbang - Welder

Details of the incident He said that he was about to take lunch when fire came from a flammable chemical. They used water to kill the fire but the fire is very hard to control. He then decide to escape when fire has not been raging that much.

Details of the incident He is with Leonilo. He called the attention of the factory workers, helped them to control fires and ran

Name of Witness Aljon Peron - Staff of Kentex

Details of the incident He was busy upstairs when suddenly he heard a loud explosion. Few minutes later, the second floor was raging with fire. The stairs were all flared up. Everyone starts to get suffocated because of the fire from the burnt chemical. Windows are also too high to reach with wires. Some called for help by calling their families. He managed to escape by discovering a possible way out jumping to the first floor roofing before the base floor collapses.

Details of the incident Shee is with Aljon, his husband, escaped by jumping to the passageway that Aljon discovered. She was injured and broke knee caps because of wrong landing.
