The 10Commandments

The 10 Commandments- The first 3 -

1 You shall have no other gods before Me.

2 You shall not make idols.

3 You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain.

(Duty to God)

The 10 Commandments( the remaining 7 )

4 Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.

5 Honor your father and your mother.

6 You shall not murder.

7 You shall not commit adultery.

8 You shall not steal.

9 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

10You shall not covet.

(Duty to neighbor)

What did Jesus say about the Law?

Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandmentshang all the Law and the Prophets.
