One of the most important things

we need to keep learning about is how

to care for the poor and vulnerable

in our human family so that everyone

will have what they need

to be healthy and strong.

We need to remember that:

 If we trust God,

we can act and do our best

to help others

take care of themselves.

As Catholics,

we believe that all people

deserve housing, clothing, food,

employment, and medicine.

An organization that helps people

with these needs is

Catholic Relief Services.

Catholics in the United States raise

money for and work with CRS to

help people around the world.

Organizations like CRS are important

because they help us make a difference.

One of the things CRS does is help people all over the world fight

hunger. Did you know: 

Nearly 870 million people are suffering from hunger.

CRS works to help people feed themselves.
