Creating  demand:  incentives  for  industry• Creating  an  industry  research  incentive  program  and  retaining  the  existing  R  &D  tax  incentive  to  give  businesses  two  options:ü the  tax  incentive  to  offset  the  cost  of  internal  R&D  within  a  company

üa  government  incentives  programme  to  improve  industry  use  of  the  research  capability  of  Australian  universities  and  other  research  agencies
