March 2018 Terminal Transport (651)407-6200 Business Outlook We are going into the third month of the first quarter, and we are ahead of last year with revenue up over 40%. This increase in revenue is based on the new customers that we have gained with the acquisition of Republic Express, which we completed on April 26th of 2017. Demand for transportation services continue to outpace supply. Our customers are continuing to look to us for more capacity and are interested in giving us more opportunities. We are seeing growth in all sectors of our business. The reduction of corporate taxes that was passed by Congress have improved all segments of the economy. The Ag-Tire business continues to improve as prices for raw materials lower. The agricultural sector is coming off a strong 2017, and is increasing its purchases. Paper demand is still strong as that segment of the economy is maintaining strong sales as well. Through our equipment and strong service performance we are seeing more opportunities from other customers. We were awarded more business from Blue Buffalo who was recently acquired by General Mills, for over eight billion dollars! Our volumes have increase in all categories of our business. We are continuing to look for more drivers to fill the additional trucks that we are getting. My goal is to increase our fleet size by 40% this year. We have the customers and business to support this expansion. We are grateful to our customers for their support in 2017, and continuing into 2018. We are also appreciative of our driver associates and contractors for their efforts to meet the on-time performance goals presented by our customers and their shippers. We are continuing to strive to improve efficiencies, lower costs through technology, and improve the driving experience for our contractors and driver associates. Business Outlook

We are going into the third month of the first quarter, and we are ahead of last year

with revenue up over 40%. This increase in revenue is based on the new customers

that we have gained with the acquisition of Republic Express, which we completed on

April 26th of 2017. Demand for transportation services continue to outpace supply.

Our customers are continuing to look to us for more capacity and are interested in

giving us more opportunities. We are seeing growth in all sectors of our business. The

reduction of corporate taxes that was passed by Congress have improved all segments

of the economy.

The Ag-Tire business continues to improve as prices for raw materials lower. The

agricultural sector is coming off a strong 2017, and is increasing its purchases. Paper

demand is still strong as that segment of the economy is maintaining strong sales as

well. Through our equipment and strong service performance we are seeing more

opportunities from other customers. We were awarded more business from Blue

Buffalo who was recently acquired by General Mills, for over eight billion dollars! Our

volumes have increase in all categories of our business. We are continuing to look for

more drivers to fill the additional trucks that we are getting. My goal is to increase our

fleet size by 40% this year. We have the customers and business to support this

expansion. We are grateful to our customers for their support in 2017, and continuing

into 2018. We are also appreciative of our driver associates and contractors for their

efforts to meet the on-time performance goals presented by our customers and their

shippers. We are continuing to strive to improve efficiencies, lower costs through

technology, and improve the driving experience for our contractors and driver

associates.

A Special Thank You! We would like to take a moment to recognize two individuals who’ve reached

extraordinary milestones in the last few months – Lisa and Seth Klatt have been with our

company for 30 and 33 years, respectively. This is an impressive and encouraging

achievement for Team Terminal, but, more importantly, it is a testament to the type of

people Lisa and Seth are. In a social climate where so many are quick to change

occupations and employers on a careless whim, those that show the dedication and

integrity to remain loyal to a team gives us a sense of pride that is appreciated beyond

what these words can express. Their son Logan has also been working with us as an

intern, and shown an ability and aptitude that we could only expect from these two

people – even further evidence of their strength of character. We want to thank them for

their invaluable service, guidance, and kindness. Though they are already one, they have

welcomed the rest of us in such way that has made this company not just a business, not

just a team, but a family.

New Trucks

We have begun to pick up the new 2018 Kenworth T680’s that we ordered in

November. These are the first Kenworths that the company has ever purchased, and

we look to obtain a significant improvement in our operational costs with these

trucks. The trucks are equipped with Cummins ISX Engines, Fuller automatic

transmissions, and super singles to assist in reduction of weight. The insides are

equipped with many driver amenities which I am sure our driver associates will

appreciate. The empty weight of the trucks are approximately 17,500 pounds,

considerably less than some of the other trucks we are operating, which will allow

our shippers to maximize the weights that are tendered to us. We have contracted

with Flow-Below for additional fairings to be attached to the trucks to maximize their

fuel efficiencies. That equipment will be available later this month.

PrePass

We have switched from IPASS to PREPASS. PREPASS will be covering more tolls like the

Kansas Tollway and other roads and bridges that IPASS does not cover. We hope this

gives our driver associates less delays when running outside of the IPASS network. We

are in the process of installing them in the trucks, switching from IPASS to PREPASS. Lee

or Cheryl will be advising when they are available. We also hope to be minimizing the

state scales on this system as well. When you cross one state scale a message can be

put on your transponder so that you should get the green light on other state scales.

The feedback that we have received has been very positive, as many trucks that have

gone through one scale have been given the green light through the next scales.

Safety Top Dog Awards Program

I wanted to mention the TLC program, TOP DOG AWARDS again, and I hope that

everyone participates in it going forward. By participating in the program, you have a

chance to win $10,000.00 in a May drawing!! Yes, that is correct, $10,000.00! We have

sent out more information in your checks. If you have any questions concerning this

program, reach out to Lee and get on the list to pick up some extra cash!! You may

even learn some trivia when taking the quizzes. Winner will be announced in the

Newsletter! I hope everyone is participating. If you have missed your opportunities last

year, let’s work to participate this year. Would love to see one of our associates win the

$10,000.00!!!

for a clean inspection. They received

extra $$$!

Seth Klatt

Do a thorough pre/post trip including

checking your dates of service and

annual inspections. Follow the rules of

the road, scale your loads, and follow the

rules for hours of service.

Long Idle Cost

So much unnecessary fuel is burned

every day from long idling times. To

put this in perspective, we will show

how many gallons are wasted each

month, and how that translates into

actual $$$$!

February:

# of Gallons Burned:

3,214

Average Fuel Cost:

$3.00

$$ Wasted:

$10,770.00

Watch your idle times! Since it

counts toward you monthly bonus,

cutting your idling means more

money in your pocket!

Social Media

We try to make information available to you

through the newsletter and appreciate any

feedback we can receive from you on what you

would like to see in the Newsletter. However,

please check out our Website, Facebook page,

and Twitter for information that may have not

made the Newsletter. We look forward to

hearing from you with any ideas and stories.

Pictures

As the weather is starting to change for the

better, we would love to have some pictures of

where you are going. If you are down South and

the Magnolias are blooming, how about

snapping a picture? If you are out east near

Chesapeake, maybe snap a picture of the bridge

and the water, stopping in rest areas that offer

some scenery. Let’s get a picture, and send it into

Molly. We would love to have pictures of the

trucks and trailers all over the US.
