His friends in LA who were to take charge of his burial were, perhaps, his house mates from the 1920census: John L. Harris (46, born in Wales), John J. Shea (49, born in Michigan) and James Dawson (46, bornin England). Then they were all in Ryan, Inyo, Kern County, California, and were miners.

So far I am unable to find where he was buried. Perhaps I should give up pestering the Southern Californian Genealogical Society about it!
