inception in 2009 at Mumbai as a 100% subsidiary of “Fuji Electric Group”, Fuji Electric India made rapid strides in Indian Industry with it’s products in the field of Power

Electronics & Instrumentation. Operating out of eighteen major industrial cities & through more than 70 value add channel partners backed by sales, service & application engineers, the company cornered a significant market share with its wide ranging products in the field of AC Drives, Motion Controllers, PLCs, DCS, HMI, Semiconductors, Field Instruments & Condition Monitoring Systems.

During the first five years of existence, the focus was mainly with LV Drive products in vertical motion which helped us to reach com-manding heights in Lift & Hoist segment. This journey was followed by foray into Packaging Industry with our factory automation products & made rapid progress. The company set up a frantic pace of geographic expansion & product introduction.

Each of the sales offices were backed up by service & application engineers to help our OEM’s & End Users with training, maintenance, trouble shooting & with our application expertise. We were backed by the experts from Japan to offer the best global practices.

This rapid geographic expansion phase was followed by the incorporation of a state-of-the-art Competency Centre on 1st Oct 2013 with the purpose of “Moving Beyond Products”.

The facility offers Diagnosis, Technical Inves-tigation, Product Repair, Retrofit, Adaptation, Project Design, Engineering, Application Devel-opment, Factory Acceptance Test, and Training under one roof. The facility provided the impetus to move from “product platform” to “solution arena” with our Configured Drive Systems, Gas Analysers, Package Solution & Process Auto-mation in Industrial Infrastructure area. The team is committed to develop host of competencies to provide value added services / solutions to customers business through process upgrada-tion, technology, speed, agility and response.The facility provides a sense of commitment of Fuji Electric towards its customers, channel partners and its employees. Wide variety of Training courses in Drive, Motion, Automation and Instrumentation Products hone the skills of our channel partners and customers.

2016 was a year of transformation for Fuji Electric India when it joined the clarion call of Indian Prime Minister for “Make in India” & also to uplift the Social Infrastructure segment. We set up a Drive Factory with production lines to manufacture & adapt more than 50,000 LV AC Drives. Expansion is already on to add new products & to enhance the manufacturing ca-pacity. Coupled with this activity, FE unleashed it’s prowess of “Innovating Energy Technology” in implementing the NEDO sponsored Panipat Smart Grid Project.

In September 2016, Fuji Electric announced a Joint Venture with Gemco Controls Limited with an aim of expanding the business operations and to double the turnover of Indian business by 2019. Fuji Gemco will be the stepping stone for leaping to greater heights in India’s Industri-al & Social Infrastructure.

The Drive Factory & Competency Center site at Bhiwandi is the home of production lines to manufacture FRENIC ACE family of Drives. Rapid progress is taking place to expand the operation in a phased manner to double present capacity Also new products are on anvil.

The Competency Center houses the Repair, Diagnosis, Technical Investigation, Testing, Knowledge Management, Retrofit and Adap-tation areas. Leaving aside the products, FEI made rapid progress in catering to the holistic solution of it’s customers in the field of Industrial & Infrastructure Automation. Our facilities at Bhiwandi provide Design, Engineering, Software and Application Develop-ment, Project simulation, Factory Acceptance Test in a clean air conditioned environment. The factory boasts of a state-of-the-art Gas Analyser laboratory.

The training school is embedded within the facilities & offers wide variety of product & project training courses.This helps to hone the skills of our customers, channel partners & our employees.
