FIRE PUMPS& Fire EnclosuresAqua Energy Group have Fire Protection Pumpsets available in both Diesel and Electric drive configurations. We can offer a range of accessories to complete your requirements such as Jacking Pumps, Hose Reel Pumps, Vibration Eliminators, Valves and Exhaust Components. These systems protect your business, project or commercial/residential building by increasing the fire fighting capacity with the use of high pressure water pumps and pressure boosting the hydrant services available.

Our Enclosures, available as both single and dual systems, provide extra protection for your pumpset, shielding it from harsh weather and securing it with door locks. We can create custom Enclosures, designed to suit your specific requirements, needs and budget.

All of these Pumpsets fully comply with relevant Australian Standards (AS2941-2013) and can be Mine Certified (MDG15) upon request.

PONTOONPumps StationsAqua Energy Group are capable of designing and manufacturing complete Pontoon Pump Stations. Our Pontoons can be manufactured with all-access Walkways, Floor Gratings, Cable Trays, Handrails and all Lifting and Fixing points to suit. Our smaller range is custom built to suit the individual pumps, be it Submersible, Centrifugal or Column style. All pumps can be designed either as Submerged or Self-Priming.

Aqua Energy Group have also been involved in sludge/slurry removal from dams using our unique pumping systems. These systems have proven to be very cost effective.

With your safety and the environment in mind, all designs are produced to the highest relevant standards to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

DEWATERINGPumpsWe have Dewatering Pumps suitable for any application, including Surface Dewatering Pumps, Dewatering Pods, Submersible Dewatering Pumps and Underground Dewatering Pumps (Fishtanks).

Submersible Dewatering Pumps are low weight and have a compact design for convenient transport, handling and installation. The plug-in start enables quick start-up on site, and motor protection eliminates the risk of overheating. The modular design with interchangeable spare parts makes service easy and increases flexibility.

Our Diesel Surface Dewatering Pumps are well known throughout the Mining industry. With exceptional engineering and quality, the pumps require less service and downtime meaning an increase in productivity and profit. Fully contained units have been designed up to 110% containment level and have a reading of only 60dBA, meeting noise containment regulations.

We can also supply Underground Mine Dewatering and Slurry Management Systems for both coal and hard rock mineral mining. Positive Displacement dewatering applications require flow rates delivered against the high heads typically found in underground mines. We can design, build, test and deliver the entire pumping system in-house, including all electrical works and cabinets, civil works, valves, piping and commissioning to create a full turn-key solution for your project.

Our range of Slurry Dewatering Pumps are the very best at what they are designed to do. Our Slurry Dewatering range can handle from as small as 1 L/S with a head of 70m to as large as 1200L/S with a head of 50m.

We can also supply smaller Satellite Dewatering Equipment such as Electric Submersible Pumps and Progressive Cavity Pumps.

Dewatering Pump Pods are designed to meet the need of every individual mine site. They range from 1000L to 10,000L and can be fitted with either internal or external pumps, depending on your requirements. Before going onsite the pump pods are rigorously tested for stability for the safety of those operating the equipment and others in the vicinity.

Our Mine Dewatering pumps are built to all required standards both Mechanical and Electric and come with your choice of diesel motor. All pumps are available with a number of optional extras and all spare parts, including Impellers, Liners, Bearing Assemblies and Mechanical Seal Kits.

PLUNGERPumpsPlunger Pumps have been used to dewater underground mines in Australia for decades. With a simple, sturdy and time proven design, nothing can beat the 90% mechanical efficiency and the power savings these systems offer. Packaged in deep underground pump stations, in many cases they can dewater your dam all the way to the surface without having to stage to another level.

Typical flowrates for mines are around 8-20l/s per pump against hundreds of meters of discharge head. Various materials of construction can be selected to suit your particular water composition.

We can supply packaged pump skids to your specifications, or construct turn-key pump stations complete with Civil works, Electrical Cabinets, Pulsation Dampeners, Pipes and Valves.

SUBMERSIBLEPumpsSubmersible Pumps (also known as Stormwater Pumps, Sewage Pumps and Septic Pumps) are used for the transfer of clear water, slurry, soiled water, chemicals, stormwater and wastewater. With a wide array of applications, Aqua Energy’s range of Submersible Pumps are perfect for drainage of flooded sumps, car parks, trade waste processing, site dewatering and much more.

Aqua Energy Group can offer a vast range of Submersible Pumps, and we work closely with Hydraulic Consultants, Engineers and Contractors to ensure the correct pump is selected for your application.

There are multiple types of Submersible Pumps available including Vortex, Cutter, Grinder, Channel, Drainage and Multi-Stage. Our Submersible Pumps are Class 1, Zone 2 Approved.

BOREHOLEPumpsMine Dewatering using Submersible Pumps is an efficient, low maintenance and reliable method to dewater an underground mine as they are not affected by underground constraints such as ventilation, power outages and inspections by personnel. Borehole Pumps are usually remotely located from main surface infrastructure, and as such are fully automated.

A correctly sized pump and motor, with a carefully designed underground sump, can dewater and control underground mine waste water without the need to have underground personnel or large infrastructure installed underground.

Careful positioning of the pump, and a sump designed to maximise water storage capacity can provide a cost effective way to collect mine water by using gravity to drain the mine without the need for multiple underground pump installations to be installed.

Borehole Pumps can be mounted horizontally and supported underneath Pontoons or Rainwater Tanks. In remote areas without power, Borehole Pumps can be powered by Diesel Engines and smaller pumps can be Solar Powered.

Water Reclaim Plants are used to convert waste water into water that can be reused for other purposes. Reclaimed water can be used for irrigation or reused in applications as a water-saving measure. Frequently used in the Mining and Industrial sector, Filter Presses are used for water and waste water treatment. Filter Presses are vital pieces of equipment, responsible for separating liquids and solids via pressure filtration.

CENTRIFUGALPumpsAqua Energy Group’s Centrifugal Pump units come in a variety of configurations and sizes to suit your application. Centrifugal Pumps are the most used pump type in the world. They are robust, effective and relatively inexpensive to produce.

They are used to transport fluids by utilising kinetic energy to increase flow rates efficiently. The impeller accelerates the fluids to assist with the rapid outflow to the desired flow rate. They are used in a range of industries and for a variety of applications including water transfer, food processing, water boosting and marine operations.

Multistage Centrifugal Pumps are also available. With the ability to be used for Fire-Fighting applications and Water Treatment operations, Multistage Pumps prove to be one of the most versatile pumps on the market. Multistage Pumps can be horizontal or vertical and can be manufactured using either cast iron or stainless steel. They are low maintenance, low noise, highly efficient and have a long working life.

HVDistribution BoardsA High Voltage Distribution Board (HV Distribution Boards) is a component of an electrical supply system which divides an electrical power feed into various circuits, whilst providing a fuse or circuit breaker for each section.

Distribution Boards typically include an Enclosure and Panelboards to suit. There are options to suit a wide range of applications from commercial installations to heavy duty industrial installations.

Aqua Energy Group can completely manufacture the entire Distribution Board, including in-house testing, and we can also utilise Transportable Switchrooms or Containers to enable easy transportation and site installation, and to protect the Switchgear from the Australian climate.

MOTORControl Centers

& PANEL CONTROLLERS

A Motor Control Center (MCC) is an assembly of one or more enclosed sections designed to control electrical motors or equipment. They can include various add-ons including Variable Frequency Drives, Programmable Controllers and Metering. Our most basic Panel Controllers can be as simple as an on/off function, or can utilise more advanced controls. Our Control Panels are factory wired and are included in many of our Packaged Pump Systems.
