    I

’m not particularly esoteric orsuperstitious. I walk under ladderswithout a second thought and ifI see a black cat I Instagram it.But man, I love a good horoscope.I find it thrilling: my future being told

to me, the stars showing me the months

during which I should be open to love,

the days on which to flex my muscles

at work and on which to leave that

for the gym. I read so much into the

    simplest suggestion that every single

    one resonates with me acutely.

And I’m not the only one in the

COSMO office. Some of the team and

I were discussing this year’s horoscope

special on page 125, and most of us had

an ‘OMG this is so me’ moment. That said, my horoscope can

never be my script. I can’t ever

    relinquish that much control over

my future and live to these predictions.

Because there’s no horoscope, no Magic

8-Ball and no psychic as powerful as

you to predict the outcome of your

year – or your life, for that matter.

So what do you see for yourself in

2016? A change in career? Meeting up

with an old friend who has the potential

to become a lot more? You control that.

You control your destiny, your story.

Know why? Cause you’re too special

and too wonderful to have life happen

to you. The world is your playground

    – and you’re here to slay.

    WHO? 31-year-old actor and musician

CATCH HIM AS Tobias ‘Four’ Eaton

in the Divergentseries, and as the face of

new Hugo Boss fragrance Boss The Scent

ON SOCIAL MEDIA‘Other actors are really good at it but it’s

not for me. If I post a picture of us having

a drink and get loads of views or comments,

then you’re quite exposed and you’re in a

world of work. I just like being present.’

    ON THE HUGO BOSS FRAGRANCE

‘It smells a bit like fruity gunpowder.

It sounds like a made-up story: they

used the fruit of the snuff-box tree

[that’s South African!] that’s never been

used in a fragrance before. It’s masculine.’

    ON READING ABOUT HIMSELF

‘Everyone says it’s the cardinal sin but

you inevitably do it by accident, or you

see it on a newsstand or whatever. You

end up forming a perception of yourself

based on other people’s opinions, which is

a mind-f*ck because you start perceiving

    yourself as something you aren’t.’

    ON HIS ROLE AS FOUR

‘When you’re in a franchise, you need

to come up with things that are different.

Sometimes that can be hard. You do a big

blockbuster-type thing, and the things thatcome easily are similar to that. You need

to avoid that temptation because I think

it’ll affect your career in the long term.’

    ON HIS SEDUCTION SECRETS

‘It’s difcult to tell your own seduction

secrets without sounding like a [douche].

Seduction to me is someone who’s able to

have fun and embrace the moment but

    doesn’t take themselves too seriously.

    That’s attractive to me.’■
