All command teams will compete in Jousting, Dodge ball, Street Hockey, Dead Man, and Guard the Pin. Each team must consist of 10 people (2 females and 8 males). Registration deadline is February 19th
Youth Basketball and Start Smart BasketballRegister December 10th – January 8thBounce your way over to the NAS 1 gym to register for Start Smart (ages 3-4 max, of 20 participants) and Youth Basketball (age 5 years old through the 8th grade). Registration fee is $30 per child. Assessments for ages 7-10 will be held at 5pm, ages 11 through eight grade at 5:30pm on January 9th at NAS1 gym. Come meet your coaches and kick off the season on Saturday, Jan 12th at the basketball jamboree. Accepting applications for volunteer coaches. Orange Harvesting and Agriturismo Lunch (Borgo Antico)Saturday, January 5th Come with ITT to the Mineo Area to participate in the harvesting of oranges. We will split into teams to collect oranges and the most productive team will win a prize! Each person will be able to bring some oranges home with them as well. Sperlinga, Nicosia, & Pietralunga Agriturismo Sunday, January 6thThe medieval town of Sperlinga, located in central Sicily, is home to a Norman castle excavated from the rocks. The castle was built over caves that were inhabited by people since 1080. Climb up to the top of the castle, and you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful view of the surrounding town and countryside. Hopefully we’ll have a chance to see the Nativity scene located in Sperlinga as January 6th is Epiphany Day which marks the end of the Christmas season. Nicosia has interesting architecture, both Medieval and Baroque, and also offers an impressive number of Palazzi and churches to visit. This walking tour will be followed by a lovely lunch at Pietralunga, (included in the price) an excellent Agriturismo that’s located nearby.

Circumetnea Antique Train AdventureSaturday, January 12th Get ready for some fabulous views of Mt. Etna when you board the Circumetnea Antique Train Adventure! You’ll ride the train ride all around Mt. Etna with a stop in the historic town of Randazzo for lunch. WWII Museum and Lunch in Catania (PART 1)Saturday, January 12thCome with ITT and tour the WWII MUSEUM at Cimiere including both the Commonwealth Cemetery and the German Cemetery. You’ll have the opportunity to see “OPERAZIONE HUSKY” and learn about Catania during WWII. Then we will go visit the Marchesana, located in the center of Catania just behind Palazzo Biscari, which was the “General Quarter” of the Allies after the invasion of Sicily. Situated on the island of Sicily, it is universally known for the spectacular Valley of Temples, the sacred area of ancient Akragas, one of the most important colonies of the Greek Empire. After the tour, we will visit the Bagliesi Winery for a wine tasting and a light meal of antipastos. WWII Tour St. Agata Festival

We’ll visit the Cathedral with its holy treasures and the ruins of Ventimiglia’s Castle which have to be reached through narrow streets reaching up to more than 1000m above sea level. Tandem Sky DivingSaturday, January 5th Here is your chance to try the exciting sport of skydiving in Sicily! We’ll take you to the Palermo area where you will jump with Skydive Sicilia. We provide the transportation and reservations, and you provide the courage! We take off from the Bocca di Falco Airport where you’ll board a plane and then jump over the spectacular views. Snowshoe Overnight Trip to Rifugio Galvarina, Mt. Etna Saturday & Sunday, January 12th -13th We will snowshoe hike for 2/3 hrs to reach Rifugio Galvarina, which is located on the North/West side of Mt. Etna, where we will spend the night. Please don’t expect to stay in a 4**** hotel. This is a very old, small and rustic Sicilian shelter without running water (no toilet available). The toilet will be in the forest! This is true overnight camping at its best. Please remember that this is a natural park and we should have the utmost respect for our Mother Earth!!! We will provide a BBQ the 1st night, and you will provide your own breakfast and lunch/snacks the next day. Bring everything that you will need to enjoy your overnight in this fantastic natural place. ITT GEAR n GO will provide a recommended gear/packing list, a sleeping bag, sleeping pad and snowshoes! Dress and pack warmly so that you will fully enjoy this chilly overnight trip on Mt. Etna! Hike Acqua Rocca on Mt. Etna and BBQSaturday, January 26thLet’s hike “Acqua Rocca” & “Valle Del Bove”, two areas located at the east side of Zafferana on Mount Etna. This hike has a nice overlook of the geological and volcanic scenery of the valley below. It also takes us through a forest of birch, chestnut, and oak trees then heads up a steeper section of about 1km through the volcanic ash. We will start this hike at 1,472mt and hike to reach the top at 1,800mt. If we are lucky, there will be some volcanic activity going on; this is one of the best places to watch it! This hike is family friendly, but the last kilometer is quite steep. Children must be comfortable hiking for 2-3 hours. Bring plenty of water and snacks with you in your backpack. Depart: NAS I 7:30am Return: 4:30pm$40 includes BBQ lunch; Children under 12 are free!
