Film is not regularly associated with fashion, yet costume design is an essential part of production, with which a project has little credibility. Costume design rarely refers to actual ‘costumes’ as we know then, but subtle design through which the intent and concept of the film is transmitted. Costume design for film as much a crucial part of fashion design as any other adjacent discipline.
