The reason for this costume is it hides the characters face, to connote he is not morally upright and the use of all black clothing is to make him harder to see as well as foreshadowing the “darkness of the film.”

The murderer wears a full body boiler suit and a mask to hide his identity. The boiler suit will also ensure he doesn’t leave any DNA.

Detective (Josh) • White shirt• Black tie• Black trousers• Long grey coat• Black shoes

Detectives usually dress in smart clothing with a long coat. Hopefully by wearing this the audience will gather he is a detective. Also by not being a uniformed policeman the audience can assume he is of high rank

We want the policeman to look as much like a real police man as we can. They usually wear high-vis jacket with shirt and tie.

You don’t really see much of them as they are under a blanket. Also before they were murdered they would have just been in their own house dressed casually .
